Do You use spacers to make it wide? Or you have a complete new suspension setup with new wishbones etc to change the geometry?

it looks somewhat like the DTM at first glance the only thing I like about it is the manual gearbox. lots of credit for making that happen.

+Dzul Harel LMAO thats a pretty nice initialism you made there but I highly doubt that's what it actually meant. Its just people saying its rice because its asian lol. The term started here in the states by muscle car guys who called Japanese cars rice and their drivers ricers. Although man I gotta say Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement is pretty awesome!

Okay. I know the internet has been filling your minds of what "rice" is. "Oh. Rice is a car with hydraulics, chrome rims, clear taillights, cheap wing, flashy two tone paint job, neon lights, big muffler and autozone stickers. And oh! It's most likely a Honda LOOOOL" But the true definition of rice is Race, Inspired, Cosmetic, Enhancements. And this Merc fits the bill perfectly. The owner said it himself that the car was primarily built for show. The suspension is not properly tuned for serious racing, it's just lowered. The interior is stripped out yes, but that doesn't translate to the super quick laptimes like this car is trying to advertise . "Bu-but it's a Mercedes! It's fast out the gate!" This car is a run of the mill CLK 240 with a weasy 168hp with a not as impressive 180 pounds foot of torque. That's less power than the Toyobaruion BR-SGT-86. You know? The car everyone swears doesn't have nearly enough power? And again, this car is stripped, but I still doubt it weighs less than that car. And wide body kits like this only adds weight and drag. So it's somewhat slower than stock. The evidence is all there. If you all just get the rocket bunny dick out your mouths, and look at the facts. You'll see clear as day. This car is RICE. Now is it bad rice? By all means no... History has proven you can do *ALOT* worse than this. But until this car is tuned properly, and proves itself on the race track, this car will have to carry that weight of being rice. It's either that, or get called a "poser".

There's nothing wrong with that. Some people might want to keep the cars reliability the same and not break the engine or they like the engine the way it is.

ye but they put a manual gearbox in it. if you can shift it will be quite faster than a stock one around a track. but you're right screwing bolts into classic cars without touching the engine is questionable. the AMGs are tailhappy af though, if these guys plan togue runs with it, the aero is appropriate.

japanese term for "stock engine" is different. ive seen cars with full exhaust, intake, fuel and piggyback mods and the owner says stock engine (usually what they mean is stock internal and oem ecu)
