Ken narville this is a video about rocket launchers, not the rpg7, this video would be called rpg7 if it was about it.
@meatballsnacker-sitregald69194 жыл бұрын
@Ken narville "He went too far in the subject." That's literally the point of presentation, what are you rambling about? Just because he doesn't include a single weapon doesn't make it not a rocket launcher video. And why would he have to talk about the RPG-7 exclusively? Apart from it's iconic look, it's history is nowhere far as deep or mechanically as interesting for a single video. The reason why he make a video about "Rocket Launcher" is exactly that, no single launcher is interesting enough for a video, but a lot of them is.

Seriously, one day he should cover the *Knife.* -Simple, effective, versatile, a must-have for anyone and everyone. -Arguably the OLDEST iconic arm, but will likely never become obsolete. -It is culturally associated with everything from professional soldiers, to serial killers, to ninja assassins, to street thugs -It's the basic melee weapon in many games -A choice of blood and gore, hack-n-slash gameplay or precise, one-hit kills -It's a reliable fallback option, a trusty friend that is at your side when your weapons are out of ammo -You have a choice of bold, near-suicidal banzai-charge out into the open with a knife, or silent, stealthy takedowns -Bonus mention for games like The Last of Us, where bladed melee weapons have a limited number of used before breaking. Until halfway through the game, when you get Ellie's unbreakable switchblade Video must include -The Spy Butterfly knife from TF2 -Rambo's famous bowie knife -Does the hidden blade count? -The Call of Duty / Battlefield knife system (with mention of the Commando perks and Ballistic knife) -Kitchen knives from survival horror, ala Silent Hill and Resident Evil -The knife culture of Counter Strike -Knives from stealth games like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid
@AtomicBlastPony6 жыл бұрын
Vito C there's a reason they say "don't bring a knife into a gunfight". Soldiers are issued knives only as tools to cut stuff, and possibly emergency self-defense. Dunno about other countries, but in Russia and CIS there was no single documented occurrence of knives being used by any military or special forces since the cold war. I don't want to disappoint you, but they ARE obsolete already.

You do realize that he's a one man production studio right? He has to write, research, and put the video together, meaning he needs to get his own game footage, create his own graphics and music, and do the voice over and edits. I really don't understand why people (I'm talking about commenters and critics more than Ahoy) are so dismissive of First Blood (the first Rambo film), calling it an action movie, mindless, or dumb fun etc. Obviously, the sequels are pretty much all super goofy and dumb, but the first film is all about PTSD, Americas treatment of veterans, the effects of war, and other really sad themes. I mean, Rambo tries exceedingly hard to convince the cops to just leave him alone, and the film is called First Blood because Rambo is horribly mistreated by the cops before he did anything to defend himself ("They drew first blood!"). Idk, I really, really like the film, because it's totally not an action movie, it's a drama with action heavy parts. Rambo cries like a baby at the ends, because he just wanted to be treated like a human when he got back from war, but instead he was called a, "baby killer."

Video correction: It is a common mistake to state that shaped charge liners become molten. Shaped charge jets are solid state, actually harder than "cold" copper at normal conditions (look at a P-T diagram for copper), they flow plastically and may also behave like a plasma under the intense pressure.

You could’ve mentioned the fictional inaccuracies of rocket launchers in video games, such as Team Fortress 2’s rocket launcher. All of them have recoil, despite having an open funnel at the end, with 3 - 5 rocket in one clip (depending on what the rocket launcher is i.e. Black Box, Liberty Launcher, etc.), and shoving rockets through the front of the launcher as reloading, instead of from the back
@GuardianOfTheHeaven7 жыл бұрын
A true classic way of room clearing, and the best way to take down huge size boss enemies. It's no wonder any FPS gamers from the yesteryears would picked rocket launchers over the rapid fire machine guns/minigun, shotguns, even. Historically, though not FPS games, many of the Resident Evil boss enemies are taken down by rocket launchers. Until today, such dramatic approach is a wonder even to me, but the destruction of what would be an nearly unkillable enemy is very, VERY satisfying. And I love that you actually mentioned both Medal of Honour and Call of Duty series, both of the World War 2 series. I grow up playing with those games. Good old times :3 Oh, I forgot this when I posted, but I have always wanted to do this: KABOOOOMM!!! XD
