You need to make it where you can’t clear it on the ceiling. Only on the side walls. Also, I feel like this game mode has a ton of potential. If you could modify spike rush to where you have approximately 20 boost when you have the “flag” to use it strategically, that would spice things up.

Oh man, this brings back so many Tribes memories. I love it. I agree with other commenters that the ceiling shouldn't count as a clear, it should be only the side walls. A couple other ideas: 1) Dunno how much is possible with RL custom maps, but what about audio cues for when a flag is grabbed/dropped? Separate sounds for all 4 events (friendly/opposing flag grabbed/dropped) would be easier to parse mentally than reading text on the screen, which in theory should lead to faster-paced gameplay because players could react quicker to events. 2) What if it were possible for players to go outside the arena somehow, just not with a flag? Obviously you wouldn't want to make the walls completely drive-through-able because wall play seems to be a pretty important part of this gamemode, but if there were designated zones where you could exit the map maybe? And then maybe if you could always get back _into_ the map at any point? Not sure how this would play out, but it feels like it might open up some more strategic possibilities.

That looks like sooo much fun! And it plays really well too. I can't wait for different styles and layouts coming in the future for RLCTF!

I have an idea that might not be entirely possible but would love your opinion, Echo Arena in RL. Unlimited boost, zero G, unlimited flips, and spike rush with an obstacle course similar to Echo and the goals could be the ones from the “RL in space” video. Hope u see this

This is sick! Would it be possible, for example, to add logic to it that says if the ball is blue, and has an orange trail, it doesn't reset? Kind of like in dropshot how if you touched the ball last it doesn't break your own floor? Might open up the gameplay a bit with more passing potential if that's a possibility. Like right here if the ball bounces instead of disappearing - 4:18. Either way I'd play this though 10/10. A more straightforward way to add that, depending on how you're making this I guess, could be to add if-else's checking that the trail and ball color are both the same before resetting the ball.

Havent seen the full vid yet. But think the best strat is to have one attacker, one defender. And one person drives around with your own ball and throws it away when hes in trouble

Even tho it's Rocket League I can't help but remember back to the good old days of pro Call of Duty. When they were saying "Yeah I've killed him we've got space" is the main thing that kept bringing back them feels.
