Rocket League Players vs The Rank They Think They Deserve Part 2v2
Cbell here with another Rocket League KZfaq Video. Today in Rocket League Ranks...Ha. They're so messed up right? Well this showmatch is the ultimate test of rank in Rocket League. This is a continuation of part 1, but this time we take on 2v2. Playing alongside a teammate makes your mistakes a little less problematic than it does in 1s. So, a lot of you were saying that I need to do Rocket League Players vs. They Rank They Think They Deserve, but with 2s and 3s so we can get a better gauge of this test. This is a type of video that you can compare your rank to and see if you would be able to take on a challenge like this and win against a higher ranked team. I'm taking a little bit of a hiatus from the normal guides and tutorials that I do on this channel and I hope that this second part can give you some laughs and be a good viewing experience for you. Ranking up is definitely not easy in Rocket League for many factors and so our Ego Girthy players try to prove it to us all right here and now. This video falls more in line of what Musty, Sunless or Mertzy might do in their videos, so if you like this and want to see more like it, or even make a specific tutorial or guide on something you feel you need to get better at, let me know in the comments.

Honestly plats aren't that bad mechanically and positionally, it's just that they're too confident often making them go for things where they should have waited and such. I saw in another vid that plat is the rank where your ego is the highest it's ever going to be. Then when you get to diamond you realize how much you still have to learn to be good and your ego goes down. On a ego vs skill graph, plat is where it's highest on the ego and nowhere close to high on the skill. Then it plumets and it's not until you reach like gc that your ego is back, but still not as strong as before, but now you actually have skill to back it up. Bro I wrote the entire essay bruh, 12pt times new roman double spaced plus citations bruh.

Except that's a solid and probably the biggest problem w players. I'd 100% take a player w good rotation skills over someone who get do flip resets, air dribbles, etc. bc players w good mechanics are usually ball chasers who end up putting you in a 1v2 constantly

summs up all RL players. Its hard too understand what your teammates are doing, when you focus so much on yourself. A tip I can give is to save the replay and look at the game from your teammates perspective. There you can see that ur body language can change your teammate behavior. Its very suddle but important.

I would likely be plat 2 max but the only thing I'm consistently good at is the extra game modes. I may never know how high I can reach but it's fun af getting there. Ds, hoops and rumble are all so much easier to gain rank in while solo playing. My d2 mates say I'm worthy but I will believe it when I see it.

Anyone that claims points make them a better player are ignorant to the fact that only ball chasing does not mean you were actually positioning, passing, or doing anything else beneficial to the team overall. Essentially, never use points as a serious argument. It does not take any thought.

I havent played much. But id say its not that on point, i got platinum 1 in rumble and got D E S T R O Y E D until I got back to my home.....silver 3 😆 But I have no real idea of how it works so I cant say much

The only thing I have an issue with is that solo queueing can really destroy ranks, I wish there was a solo queue only playlist for duos like there was for standard. I played my placement games and got into Champ 1, stayed there for about 25+ games, but ultimately came down to Diamond 2 after maybe 3 losses in a row, which I thought was a very harsh derank. In those 3 games 2 of my teammates quit and left me 2v1 after going behind by one goal with still half the game left. The other teammate was toxic and scored own goals after going 1 down in the first 10 seconds, I cannot get back up to Champ, but had I not have had those 3 losses in a row which I genuinely can only blame on my teammates. There’s no reason to suggest I could not have stayed in champ for a further 25 games and gained the champ rank. Which I have yet to do.

I don’t usually comment but I really think this series would benefit if all three other players were the desired rank, and nobody knew who the lower rank was. You could interview the players and see if they could tell who didn’t belong or if everyone seemed to be of that rank. Just a thought!

Honestly, one game isn't enough to get much of a read into these guys anyway, and certainly not when it's a game that's going to be on KZfaq. The pressure is going to be way higher than their normal ranked games and they're going to be more conscious of everything they're doing and trying way harder.

Yeah i was rooting for the golds cause my tm8s sucked in 2v2s and I was stuck at gold 1 div 3. I still am stuck there but in 1v1s im plat 1 div 1 and im hovering around there. In ranked you will see a pattern with my ranks. The more players I play with the worse my rank gets cause in 3v3 im silver 1 div 4

Sick of these "I get top score" comments. I can't tell you how many times I have had to play responsible and watch two idiots in front of me cut rotation time and time again. When you only get a 1/3 of the ball touches you are supposed to get, you often place at the bottom for score.

Whenever I play 3s I fill in like a third man role (unless someone already is) so I’m almost always bottom of the scoreboard, but without a third man, we would lose each game.

Sergraphix numbers wise yes this season has more but it has less percentage wise also I think season 3 was a month longer than this season. Also season 3 GC can be seen sometimes in champ 1 lobbies just because of how bad that season was for GC
