Rocket Racing got some changes in the NEW Fortnite update 28.10 and things are looking GOOD

Why are they making us unlock trails to use when we have thousands of trails in rocket league, they could have imported 1 and if ppl don’t have it in rl then they can do the quest. Not rlly seeing the point of trading being removed when they don’t seem too focused on importing all the items in rl.

I think converting the controls like that will be best to get used to because I’ve had solid runs on Maps like Windy way only to get bumped up the sidewall or even mistakingly, drifting too late only to end up in the wrong direction. I think that will give more control overall. Also how you stated on Tilted Turnpike being upside down there’s that sweet spot where it switches the controls and difficult to know when.

I just elite in rocket racing, I got into my first race with a 2nd place, I didn’t move up. I did dust up 2 and I got a 3rd, I ranked Down. and no matter what I get I either stay at elite 0% or I rank up with one race then next race I rank down. Fortnite is messed up for me 😂

Taking controls a step further, I just thought of a feature they could add. Make the Camera Rotate as you go up a the side wall or even the ceiling to where it looks like the floor. The catch would be, you are responsible for knowing which wall you are on when implementing the Aerial Dodge. That would honestly be an amazing feature. (Wishful Thinking though!)

I had to check your video to make sure I wasn't missing anything, on my game the Invert Steer Method is just missing. (or rather, all of the Fortnite Racing settings under Game are missing.) Maybe I need to relaunch to get it back, because this is wacky.

In my first session I was too getting used to the bumping and everything so I lost 4 times in a row and went Down around 4 procent so you don’t get a lot minus percent for losing

Honestly I thought that I wouldn't like that they just added harder version of K2 Raceway and Lazy Lake but honestly Lazy Lake 2 is a really fun map. Thank god they fixed dodging I think that was the worst part of it all for me.

Try the drift I show on tilted turnpike. It’s insanely difficult with inverted controls turned on 😭 Whatever works for you tho it’s ultimately preference!

@@DannyLotus I’m just so confused, so wait do you want the controls to be when you are upside down, if you press the control stick right, your car goes to the left from your perspective? Or do you want it to invert it so that when you press right, it actually goes right form your point of viewv

The important part at least to me is that they DON’T change. So the game never “takes over” your controls. In the example I showed on sidewinder you see it happening where my cars wheels change direction even tho I don’t change what direction I’m moving the analog stick. Hopefully that makes sense it’s hard to explain further 😅

@@DannyLotus hmmmm I see what you mean, but to me it makes sense because I want to go to the left, and then back to the right to maintain control. So as soon as I go upside down I switch to pressing right to go back to the right. I was on the bottom going left and then going to the right when above to go back to the middle. That makes total sense to me, so I would want an immediate or close to immediate switch to always have control of where my vehicle is in the physical space from my perspective . If that makes any sense at all lol

@@tehCostHD Danny comes from playing Rocket League where if you press left, you turn left. Even if you're upside down, the car still turns to its left. But if the car is upside down and the camera isn't, then on screen, it moves to the right even though it's making a left turn.
