The 32-year-old Scotsman, known for playing doomed scion Robb Stark on Game of Thrones and the trauma-stricken David Budd on the BBC’s Bodyguard, is eager to shed his broken-good-guy image. “I really enjoyed being a bastard,” he says, referring to his role as John Reid, the rebrand manager and former lover of Elton John (played by Taron Egerton) in this month’s fantastical and much-anticipated Rocketman biopic. Before the film's debut, though, he sat with ELLE in an ode to his two earlier roles to read fan theories about what's next in Westoros, and what's in store for our favorite PS. Is Julia really dead? What's up with Vicky's mysterious boyfriend? What will happen when Sansa and Dany's worlds collide? And who will sit upon the Iron Throne?

What I really adore in Richard is that while being sexy, he has this warm kindness all abou his character, you can just see it in his eyes and smile that he is a good-hearted person with a beautiful soul. I'm definitely a fan for life!!!!

Loving the natural hair colour. Could listen to him talking for hours. Listened to his interview on the nerdiest a few years ago and didn't want to stop. Watching him cry in the body guard was the first time I had seen an actor do it in a way that resonated to me in how I dealt with grief.

Here's my theory. In season 2 of Bodyguard, David changes his name to Dank and starts up his own dispensary. And here's my theory for thrones. Everyone is already dead in GoT and Arya is just playing every character and acting out conversations with herself in a single, imaginary play.
