Taron Egerton may be getting rave reviews for his portrayal of Elton John in rockin' fantasy biopic Rocketman, but how well does he know the reviews for his past movies? We put Taron to the test by getting him to read review quotes and guessing which movie of his they're referencing. But with one major twist: We threw in some of Elton John's movies as well! Here's just a sample of the clues: Hamlet, Old Testament, and The Odyssey (that's just one quote!), jaywalking soccer hooligans, gilded hamster wheels, a massive vat of hot cocoa...

@@333br This sort of thing happens all the time. The finished product isn't always like the original pitch. Taron probably signed on with a different idea in mind.

He actually seemed enthusiastic about the film bc he went for it and trained for weeks to learn to shoot moving targets while jumping and stuff and then when filming they made it all CGI, I’m guessing he didn’t like that very much

Eddie the Eagle is so underrated. such a great movie and his chemistry with Hugh Jackman was great as well. more ppl should see this one to feel all gooey and good inside.

With Rocketman, Taron has proven himself to be a complete actor: acting, singing and dancing. I hope he can only get roles that respect his talent.

First I've ever seen even a whiff of negativity from Egerton about Robin Hood, which he did the junket for like a trouper. Also first I've ever seen of him saying, well, anything about Billionaire Boys Club. Don't think I saw Roberts or Elgort say anything publicly about it, either.

I'd seen Kingsman, but hadn't recognized him when I looked him up after a few episodes of BLACKBIRD. It's not surprising that it took a drama to get my attention ... or that he turned out to be another Welsh actor who can do anything 💜 Say what you will about the endless stream of relentlessly handsome men from down under, Cymru's exports are fewer and gwych 😉

Robin Hood was not that bad .. it was a solid film performance...but I can respect Taron's view on the film ... Billionaire Boy's Club was ok. Not the best film out there but Taron's American accent was quit cute to listen too!!
