I was stationed in Anchorage Alaska 1976 to 1978. I remember hearing White Punks On Dope on a local FM station. I thought wow who are these guys. What a wild song!! 🎸🎸🎸

Saw them at The Bottom Line in NYC on that tiny stage. A great, memorable show! I thought "Holy S what is this!". WPOD became an instant favorite.

Fee and the Tubes so Original and a Great Band ,1 in a Million-to have an awesome show is 1 thing but as a Band they also are Great Musicians ,Awesome interview 👍

Missed the First Tour but Saw the Young and Rich , The Now Tours and when they were the opening Act on Bowie in 83 . I have been Looking for the Beans Album now for 50 years.

I was always a big Tubes fan. Even owned Love Bomb on vynl. I very seen them several times over the past 10 years. The are still great band and a lot of fun to watch. ...even if they don't do Space Baby.

Love the Tubes in their A&M days. Saw them 2 times when I was working for the distributor. I loved it that Capitol / David Foster helped them make a little bit more noise on the radio....but missed those earlier times ✌🍏

was well of The Tubes back in the 70s but never got around to seeing them until 83' which by that point their show had been tamed down quite a bit ...but damn I sure wished I had seen them in the mid to late 70s

I saw them at the Boarding House club in SF and they threw baby tubes of toothpaste to the audience. So fun!

imho , the most entertaining rock concert ever was the Tubes New Years Eve / wee hours New Years day concert 75/76 at Winterland , San Francisco . Bill ' sputnik" Spooner and Roger Steen really played superb duo lead guitars too . Many ppl misunderstood the Tubes . They used half naked women , death scenes , crass materialism, and screwball skits to draw attention to their satirical lyrics criticizing these things and "the me generation" . As crazy as Fee was performing , he never used drugs . Fee attributes his longevity and energy to this day to drinking perfectly legal ginseng tea . you can buy it without an rx at any grocery , herb supplement or pharmacy
