I refurbish rockman X100’s and modules. After 30 years, electrolytic capacitors can dry out or leak. I replace them and clean all switches, faders and jacks. I also offer a dry sound mod where I replace the chorus/echo switch with two switches. Now you get chorus, echo, chorus & echo or dry sound. I had 3 refurbished rock mounts to sell last sumner. I had so much trouble selling for $269-289. I just bought another which I may keep. These need a new capacitor for the power supply to maintain regulation and minimize noise. MRM-Electronics

Not Necessary have them worked on . Have 3 from mid 1980's $ 75.00 per . All run well and power supply into REAL AMPS Stereo.. Run These Into Two Tube Amps Just some Dirt for Stereo . BOOM!

I had an X100 in the early 2000s. In my imagination, I also had a module like this one in which to place it. It would appear to be suitable for any guitar player with any established arsenal that just wants to insert the Rockman into it. Even though Tom Scholz probably would deny this, my imagination has always told me that he devised the clean channels of this box based upon that of the Fender Twin Reverb combined with the Roland JC120. That’s largely how it sounds, especially when you engage the chorus circuit. That’s largely my motivation for currently using a Boss ME-80 set to a JC120 signal chain w/ chorus and compressor, augmented by a NU X Plexi Crunch as my stomp sustainer.

Hi mate! If you’re really lucky, you can find them second hand… I can’t find one at the moment… but keep an eye out on eBay… hopefully 1 will pop up for you!

Double FXXXCK.. I had this combo in my rig all through the 80's and into mid 90's and I stupidly sold it. Had 2 x100's. Now 60 year old me wants them back!! oh well.. the stuff we do aye?
