My understanding is all songs in medley except IDOL were prerecorded for the TV audience. Only song BTS was expected to perform live was IDOL. But BTS being the Kings they are decided they didn’t want the stage to stay empty for the audience while the prerecorded version played for TV audience so they came out in their IDOL attire and performed live as much of the medley as they could before the staff had to hurry them backstage to get ready for their live IDOL entrance. What a nice and professional thing to do! BTS 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Thanks for explaining because I'm soo confused what is live at the venue and what is pre-recorded.. So the performances with the IDOL outfits was live and the other ones were the pre-recorded ones, correct?

Just FYI a lot of artists who prerecord still perform again for the live audience while the prerecorded performance is playing, you can see live cams of exo doing it this year as well as black pink a few years ago with whistle. No hate but I think it’s fairly common for all idols to do which is amazing

SBS won't even upload the full performance of BTS, NEITHER WILL they title BTS in English to make it hard for international armys to search up the performance, but they do it for all the other artists, someone tell me what's going on? Are they afraid BTS will get more views than others? But my boys still put a smile on their face even though they are being treated unfairly 😭

I think it’s because the group isn’t originally named “BTS” but “Bangtan Sonyeondan” unlike other groups such as blackpink, got7, red velvet, exo, twice etc who are named just the same

Came here after watching a few other live performances by other kpop groups. At first, those performances were great but after watching this video, the other kpop groups look like they were just going through the motions and trying to keep up with choreography while BTS on the other hand is engaging the crowd, breaking out of choreography and going back in sync with ease and professionalism. Very little kpop group can do that well and BTS does it with high energy and passion. This is why im ARMY!!!

The fanchants are really loud ( it's always loud ) but the reason of it being *this* loud is the pre-recorded videos... As you can see they played their pre-recorded videos (I really wish it was 100% raw)

The boys still decided to perform despite the pre-recorded already playing. They are truly amazing artists. They love performing and being on stage. Kudos to ARMYs as well. I think most of them were far from the stage yet they cheer BTS as loud as they can. :-)
