@@konstantin7912 you got this, man! 🎸🤟 I never thought I'd be where I am today with guitar and my music journey. My best piece of advice is to explore music and find what you like and learn it. If you enjoy what you're doing, it will be much easier to stick with it. Also, try not to be too dependant on Rocksmith if you choose to learn off of it. It will definitely get you in the right direction but once you develop enough skill, start to ween yourself off of it and play without it. Also, do not neglect the importance of a metronome! I played without it for nearly 7 years and when I started to use the metronome, it really opened up my eyes to how useful it is to keep your playing steady and in time. I prolly said too much already, but I hope your journey goes well and you find a new passion!

I'm not the Riff Repeater, but I'm willing to give some advice. By the 4th string, I'm assuming you mean the G string. The orange one in Rocksmith. How long and how recent have you been playing? Calluses on your fingers should develop eventually and help playing. In addition to that, do you know what gauge your strings are? If you put the strings on yourself, did you choose a thicker/heavier one? If so, that would hurt your fingers more. If you didn't put them on yourself, it's likely your strings are just a standard gauge. A lot of it is hard and hurts the first couple weeks. In that case, don't play too much when it hurts. While you do have to keep playing to get better and make it stop hurting, you don't want to suffer a mega large session with the pain. You're gonna have to work upwards in time overtime, but not the first week. If it takes like an hour before the pain, don't play more than the hour. Eventually the calluses will happen and you can play longer.
