I like how you actually play the main riff the way it’s meant to be played. Me personally, I substitute the D note on the 5th string with the open 4th string

I've always thought the chart for the main riff was weird tbh. I find it astronomically easier, and find it sounds a lot better when instead of playing the 5th fret A string, you play an open D string, pulled off from the 3rd fret D string.

That's not how the band plays it. It's easier to play it that way, but I find it's harder to make it sound right that way (harder to properly mute the strings)

None of the individual licks in that song are very hard, but it's pretty much a 5min long guitar solo with a bunch of bends and would be very frustrating to 100%

After I edit down the videos to just the 100% playthrough, I delete the old videos, so I don't have any videos of my misses. It would probably be a pretty boring video anyway. It would just be me missing a note and then restarting the song.

Brayden and his Subaru That’s not necessarily true. He always improvises the solo, so being able to play the solo the same way Vernon played in studio doesn’t say whether or not Halsb is a better guitar player. Don’t get me wrong, Halsb is incredible.

That song has 1 1/2 step bends at the 21st fret on the high e string, so it's not worth the number of attempts it would take to 100%.

Though there is a lot of note spamming, this solo has a definite structure. Vernon Reid comes from a more jazz/improvisational background, which gives the solo its seemingly imprecise sound
