GIRL I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN YOU TALKED ABOUT GETTING CERTIFIED! I just passed both my food handler certification & my alcohol one the other day but I have no experience as a bartender! This video was one of my favorites & I learned a lot!

YASSSSS!! That is truly going to help your resumes stand out. That was a smart move on your part. They are very useful certifications. Now all you need is some bar experience. It's a requirement in several states to have a liquor license & food handler's card to become a bartender. You just got lucky is all. And you're also a woman.

Girl, I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for all of your content. Looking for a weekend side gig where I can still have my days to myself but make that money during the night. I’m practicing my pours, I did my cover letter and have an interview this Tuesday at a nightclub. I feel allot better knowing the knowledge of all the liquors and liqueurs from your videos, and drinks 🍺 that you have on your channel. Applying as a barback is the really the only way to eventually become a bartender when you have zero experience. Unless you have connections & know people.

That's a great question. I got lucky. I worked in a gentleman's club in DC and all the bartenders and dancers really got along well for the most part. No shady shit, no bullying. But this is an interesting topic. I am taking a break from the page, but when I come back I think I should do a Tip of the Week on that topic! Stay tuned!
