this is lit : Sthenic = Normal Hyper-sthenic = Above normal ( fat ) Hypo-sthenic = Less than normal ( thin ) Asthenic = Abnormal ( A - A ) NOT NORMAL at all ( ill and thin ) I love you Bennie...You are the best of the best Long Le

Just to verify when you stated to increase kVp that is by 15% for additive pathology ? Also, for example if you had a pneumothorax patient would you consider their chest X-ray to be presented with decreased lung markings and have an overall increase in density (darkness) due to air in the chest cavity ? Also do you have a Rock the Registry book to purchase for international customers?

Correct additive pathology requires increased technique and subtractive pathology requires decreased technique. Pneumothorax requires decreased technique. And yes, you should be able to purchase any of the Rock The Registry books on Kindle internationally! Thank you!

Hi! When you say adjust technique by a factor of 2, how do you know how much to change the kvp and mAs. Thank you 😊

Good question. Factor of 2 technique adjustments are generally either 2x mAs, 1/2 mAs, or a 15% increase or decrease of kVp.

@@thebuttonpushers1895 Thank you so much for your quick reply😊 . So just to clarify, you only adjust one factor, either the kvp or the mAs? IAlso, another question if I may, why does Compton scatter increase with higher kvp? Is it because the high energy photon keeps on deflecting and ionising numerous atoms until it transfers all of its energy? Thanks again !

@@selinasawan6895 Correct you'd only adjust either kVp or mAs. The percentage of Compton interactions increases over photoelectric with increasing average beam energy... here's more: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n82AaKZ-09OaeWw.html

Hi Professor, I dont know why i understand a lot more when I watch your videos . My college professor - The way he teaches us just makes us more confused. Thank you so much for these videos you make. Anyways , can you please make some videos about Scattered Radiation & Grids ?

Hey man, I'll work on an update HVL video. Also, here's an older one on grids. Lemme know if you have any other questions! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/isxhYMKpzta1lXk.html
