Thanks for bringing me back to childhood. I was about 5 years old when this first aired. I probably saw this episode a few years later during the reruns on Saturday night on channel 11 WPIX New York Big #81 thumbs up 😎👍

Charlie Ruggles was unavailable for the Aesop and Son Cheerios commercial, so the role of Aesop was played by Daws Butler.

How amazing how William Conrad could sound so hyped-up in his introduction and so menacing as "Cannon." And if you look at the two space aliens aiding Rocky and Bullwinkle, you'll see the forerunners of the character from the Quisp cereal commercials a few years later!

I would love to see the ending that shows the General Mills G on the swing and saying in a creepy voice “this show was brought to you by General Mills.” It scared me so much as a kid. I’d love to see it now but it seems impossible to find (tho this clip gave me the most hope;) It would be from around 1966/7.
