They make a rubber matt for the square body. Its made by holley. They are really thick like a mud flap and cheap. We have bought some at work.

If I remember correctly, the 6.2 diesel was actually a 350 Oldsmobile block but I could be wrong. I am getting pretty old. They weren’t a very good motor but they weren’t the worst either. They were non-turbo. Of course you could add a turbo and an after cooler, or you could just drop a 12 valve in it
