Our semi annual trip to Rod Run started as a "typical" trip but before the end of Saturday night we made a deal on the 1978 Oldsmobile with one of our favorite KZfaqrs ‪@corywheatcustoms‬. Sometimes it's all about being in the right place at the right time. Watch the video to see some of our fun at Rod Run and how the deal went down.
UPDATE 2024: Looking back this trip was the start of 3 new friendships (all from out of state) that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the Oldsmobile we had brought to sell. It isn't always about making a huge ROI on a car, there are times when the connections made are more important.

Had an absolute blast at rod run. Never thought Id be coming home with a car these guys saved from being scraped or completely rotting away. So glad you guys were able to make a deal with Cory which followed by Cory making a deal with myself. Absolutely love the ol oldsmobile. Keep up the good work guys. Be blessed and thank you so much.

We are so glad you ended up with the car! We really love seeing the vehicles we resurrect go to great homes and being driven! It was nice to meet you guys and can't wait to see you guys again at a show.

Thank you, we go to Rod Run every year for both spring and fall so we will be there again this year. Cory and Hannah are super sweet and we have enjoyed watching them grow over the years!

My dad had a 78 Oldsmobile. Those bumpers can push anything. Your car sounds like its running smooth n healthy. Cool video. Consider me subscribed as I like you guys attitudes n such. That guy can get another 30,000 miles out of that car.

Dear Brittany and Daniel, If I’m correct your 1978 Oldsmobile is a type DELTA 88 ROYALE SEDAN. By coincidence my father had such a car imported from Canada as a 3,5 month old car in a strange sort of red with with looking small stripes like yours and a black vinyl glued top on the roof of the car. The inside was beige upholstered with kind of buttons like a sort of chesterfield look. Having a USA made car in the Netherlands was at that time very exclusive. I’ve driven the car many times but my BMW 1802 Ti had a far better road holding and was much faster. Such kind of Sedans as the Oldsmobile was mainly used by companies who were driving young just married couples or couples on their way for marriage. Hardly no private person owned such a car. Later my father changed to Audi😃. I didn’t recognized this car in your previous vlog. Hope you appreciate this story. Also on behalf of WIlleke I send you love from the Netherlands

That sounds like an interesting combination! We don’t see many of this era four doors out and about around here. Most of them got crushed or parked then forgotten about. This one sure was comfortable (after it was cleaned of course) but I’m sure doesn’t compare to the BMW’s handling. We love hearing all the stories you guys have had!
