I feel this comment... I'm FROM Florida too Bradenton which is West Coast about 45 minutes away from Tampa. Anyways I'm the same way. It's still hard for me to let people in. It's been so much hurt that I hate speaking to new people and even trying to make new friends. I speak in front of people because I have to not because I want to.
