Jake The MUSS, thanks for your comment....as this video obviously gave you great joy to hear "the voice of Ernie Afaganis once again....however, we at ImaSportsphile responsible for posting this video along with the 1900 other vintage videos on our webpage....and we don't know who Ernie Afaganis is....or his story....so, help us out...cuz we like to be very accurate and knowledgeable about our entire 2300 hrs. of vintage video that we are posting...cuz we weren't even a gleam in our daddy's eyes when this library was recorded....so, many times we don't know who key participants in our videos are.

Mr.Afaganis was the announcer for this and many other sports events on Cbc.google would likely be better at explaining it than I would

Thanks....for his voice sounds very much like legendary sportscaster Curt Gowdy....as that is who we at ImaSportsphile thought it was....and we did google Ernie....who is definitely a legendary Canadian sportscaster in his own right....just like Gowdy.

tinmanrobby, thanks for your comment....and since I want my webpage at www.imasportsphile.com to be a historic reference destination at some point in the future....accuracy becomes paramount....so I appreciate all our fans and viewers who take the time to help me make corrections....for having currently posted 370 hrs (1400 videos) of a vast 2300 hour sports, comedy and music library on this webpage ...we are continually faced with the daunting task regarding accuracy....so, comments like yours are greatly appreciated....and since I am pretty sure you know more about this than me....I am going to make the change to 1985.
