It applies for both sir mistakenly wrote 2 linear equations instead of 2 quadratic equations for linear equations if we get infinite many solutions then it is used and for quadratic equation if we get common roots then it is used.

The opposite side to a specific Angle is the side that doesn't contain that particular angle in the triangle, that is, the opposite side to a specific angle can never be adjacent to that angle.
