Questions on specific setup of ball value (running of vertical tubing - connection flexible hose): 1. Did you use threads or slip ball value (I have same ball values with 2 options)? 2. What PVC adapter did you use for ball value on both ends? Is 1st adapter a Male Tread to Tread? If so, where did you buy? 3. I have the same ball values and want to use with the treads. However, the SCHEDULE 40/80 MALE PIPE 3/4" ADAPTERS at your local hardware store don't carry a Male fine thread which tightens exposing little or no threads between ball values. 4. The idea is to use these same ball values with the thread option to give you flexibility in reusing ball values. 5. Basically, what adapters did you around the ball value on vertical section connecting the clear flexible hosing? Back to questions 2. - asked above. The minimal length hanging from the vertical PVC Tee ball value the better to reduce stress on PVC Tee.

Yyou can do is add multiple RODI storage containers (joined at the bottom) I have 2 45g ROFDI Brutes, Joined at the bottom, and I have a 45g mixing container, so I hold 90g RODI (also user for ATO) and 45g Mix

Watched it again since I am building my system and I was wondering for daily automatic water change, is there a rule to follow of how many gallon per day? My system volume is ~500 gallons water (aquascape volume have been taken in consideration).

Do you have to run an ATO on your saltwater storage tank to keep up with evaporation and maintaining salinity?

Instead of doing larger changes every week or two, just do 1% every day. 30 gallon tank? just keep a half gallon tea jug (one of the mostly transparent ones so you can see the water level) around and a funnel. measure 1/3 of a gallon of tap water for the first time, and fill the half gallon jug with it, draw a line so you know how much to add, pour it on a plant outside. Weigh the salt out (8 teaspoons) and drop it in the funnel, wash it down with distilled water to the line, then shake it for a minute or so, drop in an airstone and bubble it overnight. Now you are ready to take care of your nano everyday without buying a pump, a huge container, a bucket, or any of that other expensive BS. You can thank me when your nano takes off like its in prime reef water and you dont have to pay out the ass. You will still have to buy the 2.5 gallon jugs of distilled, but if you are smart and shop around, you can find them for next to nothing, and the cost will be way less over time than the cost of the RO/DI filters, the water bill, and you can take all of those supplements and test kits and throw them away, because if you do the 1% water change everyday you wont need any of them. Trust me on that, I've been keeping tanks for 10+ years this way.

Where did you get your drip tray or trays? I assume they are plastic or aluminum to avoid rusting.

Your Rodi tank should be bigger than a salt water tank as it's needed for ato AND saltwater

The amount of money you have to shell out for a reef system that automates everything is hilarious. When you know someone thats about to go through a divorce and declare bankruptcy you can get into the hobby for pennies on the dollar. Nobody in theor right mind sets up a salt mixing station that mixes more salt than the do system tank holds. When you get to the point of actually putting in a mixing station you should have at least 60 braincells to allow fo rthat to not happen.
