May God find a way to bless this man and see to it that he may one day walk again.

I'm Norwegian and I was a big fan of the NBA growing up. Not sure exactly why, but Rodney Rogers was always my favorite player. He might not have been the best player in the game, but he certainly is one of the most magnificent human beings I have ever heard of. His life before the NBA and his life after, keeping his feet on the ground, getting a regular job and the accident, everything about this man is an inspiration. I wish with all my heart that you can get back to riding your trucks Rodney.

This is the first I have heard of his present condition. I watched his whole NBA career and he was a damn quality player. As a player he was charismatic and very skilled, as a speaker he should be very effective. GL to him and his!

Sorry to hear about your cousin as I grew up watching Rodney Rogers @ Wake Forest and in the NBA. Very underated and talented. God bless your family as I pray things will get better.

Rodney came to a game a Wake game and it was emotional for everyone. It's surreal to see such a big strong athletic guy sitting in that chair. I can only imagine how he feels. I remember Rodney fondly and I'm still a fan.

It is the struggle of my life to see a wealth of people waste their lives, use people and have zero humanity or humility... This man is an absolute physical presence on the basketball court - he was amazing. And then this... It makes me angry that others walk and breathe freely to evoke hurt onto others, in complete disregard of their blessings and/or purpose - while this man - generous, humble and focused suffers... God Bless you.

Get well soon, Rodney. It was such a pleasure to watch you and Randolph reincarnate the Demon Deacon basketball program. Here's hoping that your paralysis is only temporary.
