4 weeks at #1 in Billboard and a worldwide hit. He’d go back to a more rock-oriented sound in 1980 and after. This was probably just too tempting to pass up. Everyone was doing disco stuff in 1978 and 79, and if the Stones could get away with it, so could he.

I absolutely LOVE Rod Stewart. My girlfriend and I would go to all his concerts when he came to St. Louis, Mo. I loved my girlfriend, she was my rock when I was diagnosed with MS in 2001. In 2006 she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I remember psyching my self to remember every single moment of our last concert. I can remember her laughing, dancing and having a good time. I lost her in 2009. I miss her terribly. Paula, this one is for you!!

Takes me right back to weekends at my gran's house in the 1970s, her cooking our dinner as we played in the garden, and songs like this would come on the radio as we watched the sun set. We were so much poorer materially back then, but life felt so much more free and spontaneous compared to today. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could...

This was one of my grandmas favorite songs. She unfortunately was both a drug addict and an alcoholic but she was one of my favorite people to be around. She was funny. She taught me how to play cards and how to curse. This song was played at her funeral and it always reminds me of her. Love you Gama.

He said, FIRST remove the plank from your own eye and THEN you will see clearly to remove speck from your brothers eye". Also he said, judge with righteous Judgment", John 7 Also Jesus told us to watch out for anyone who professes faith and to judge them by their fruit. Now another mistake you made is forgetting that I didn't judge this grandma and send her to Hell myself. I just told you what the scripture says. No genuine Christian judges people and condemns them to Hell, God does that, we warn every one we can what Jesus and the prophets taught and hope that people take heed. So you misused the word judgement, in this regard also.

Yeah man, this kid I knew named Travis Urban totally sang and danced this song during 4th grade dodge ball. He was my friend but kinda a dick. His life was richer and rougher. I did bad stuff and got belt whipped, he did bad stuff and got gun-case whipped. We did a lot of kid trading. I miss that man.

Throughout this whole day I’ve been in a constantly loop of this morning of how it all happened, today I thought it was gonna be just like any other Monday but instead I lost the second most closest thing to me, my beloved sister who actually showed me this amazing song.
