I like it when a channel reports just the data, and doesn't bias the video with their opinions. Thank you for just giving a simple, clean, here's-just-the-data video. :)

This. So many journalists have a habit of tainting their media with their own views as opposed to just giving people the facts of the matter. People should be left to formulate their own opinions of what the media shows them, not have their opinions spoonfed to them by the media they watch. All the American mainstream media channels on both sides of the political divide are guilty of the latter.

@@EnglishLad I was thinking the other day, if news “reporters” are now “opinion” reporters; and this certainly applies to both the left and the right, can they not then be barred from locations that require press passes? The protections put into place for the press perhaps, not be given to any organization that proves to be opinion based speculation. I’m not saying I’m right just a thought to think about.
@dhaisley

I answered my own question by looking up bulow v von bulow 1987. The SCOTUS at that time framed that the 1st amendment right to freedom of the press applies to “every sort of publication which affords a vehicle of information and opinion.” So unless someone challenges that ruling I have to say I’m barking up the wrong tree. Honestly I felt that argument was a bit of a slippery slope anyway.

@DEEJMASTER 333 No one actually knows if the fetus can feel pain. Pain is often overlapped into neuroscience as psyche can affect the perception of pain therefore when a fetus feels pain is subjective. Perhaps it does, perhaps it doesn’t. Perhaps some do early on and perhaps some don’t until they’re born. There is not a single study that can definitely prove that a fetus can feel pain at any point, any study claiming it can is ignoring the psychological factor which can’t be detected.

Don't forget to write about the fact that conception begins at 2 weeks, and at 8 weeks that baby has it's own unique DNA. Oh... I'm rambling... There is a thing called "Mootness Doctrine" in the American justice system, stating that if a controversy ends, the case falls moot and will not be heard anymore. However, in Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court modified that doctrine to rule on the case: If a right is being infringed upon only for an amount of time, which is not long enough to still have that infringement being in place, but the right naturally only stays infringed so long, the court will still rule on the case, if the infringement is likely to happen again. So while the ruling of the Supreme Court was not improtant for this specific abortion, it basically ruled on any future abortions Mrs. Roe would need.

Lol yea ok, sure, there are some loving parents that are willing to adopt children and they grow up into usual human beings, the others stay in foster care or get taken by horrible parents and suffer for the rest of their lives. Norma Leah Nelson McCorvey was Roe. She became a Roman Catholic activist and involved in the Pro-Life movement. She said being Roe was the BIGGEST MISTAKE of her life. She was NOT raped. There are so many forms of birth control now that I can’t believe abortions are still an issue. Sterilization is outpatient surgery for both men and women. The morning after pill is available without a prescription. There are A LOT of people who used to be pro-choice and many who actually worked in abortion clinics who have come out and said abortion is WRONG. Bernard Nathanson was a strong opponent to abortion. @@carmencapa6945 Yes, it is "our" decision to make (not women's alone)... We vote on what is legal and not legal in this country. We have a hand in making the collective decision. Your logic suggests that people should just be able to go whatever they want (to include murder, rape, etc.) and that society shouldn't be able to tell people what they can/can't do. That's not how things work. The population as a whole votes on what is legal and what is not.... Individuals don't get to decide what they can/can't do.

If a woman on her way to get an abortion is murdered and the unborn child also dies, the killer gets charged with 2 counts of murder. Because laws are decided by old a-holes not scientists. If the murder laws were defined by scientists a man who kills a pregnant woman would get either one count of murder or two depending on what stage of pregnancy it was. If it was early? One. If the woman was carrying it to term? Two counts. A fetus doesn’t fit the scientific definition of alive until later in the pregnancy and abortions happen in the early stages. Late abortions are really just induced labour.

if a pregnant woman is killed, you’d guess she’d keep the baby obviously unless told otherwise so the killer would’ve taken two soon-to-be lives, even tho the kid isn’t born yet. if unfit parents decide they can’t support a child for whatever reason it’s much more responsible to abort it rather then raise a child irresponsibly just for it to grow up and be a degenerate or go into foster care. if a woman is raped she’s supposed to dedicate 10 months of her life to carry your baby, many women almost bleed out giving birth, especially young girls; while you can go live your life i have to ruin myself having a baby that could’ve literally killed me and the baby is now considered the governments property? is this fr? anyone that needs an abortion and is willing to get one clearly isn’t a good fit to be a parent

The issue now is that back in the 70's the Supreme Court created the 3 abortion laws, and now the Supreme Court is saying, "Its not up to us to create laws, we interpret laws. So we are over turning this and sending it back to Congress to create a federal law, is it their job and role within the government." Pretty much saying they had and have no authority to have created those rules in the first place. And because Congress has not made a law on the federal level, its falling to the states to create the laws as stated by the 10th amendment. Everything here is because, Suprise Suprise, Congress cant do their job. Thats the main issue, that The Supreme Court who's job it is to Interpret the Laws that Congress made, in fact created laws. a GROSS violation of the constitution that was kept in place because of political bias in the Supreme Court Justices until now.

I am for advocacy for unborn children; providing incentives; educational, support of other life projects, poverty alleviation etc...to encourage women to carry through their pregnancy and if they don't want the child facilitated adoption. I do not however support coercively taking the decision to abort out of women's hands. If women use abortion as a method birth control I think that they should bear some penalty.

Isn't there a difference between being raped and becoming pregnant vs being reckless? I can see how abortion for the first case should be crystal clear, as it was not intented at all, whereas in the second case, it is just based on bad luck and poor decisions.

Speaking of bad luck, what hapoens if all the necessary precautions are taken and still a child is conceived? I know that must be one in a million (so to speak) but with even one case I’m sure something like this has happened. Do we just refrain from sex until marriage? Does this still come under recklessness? Just want other opinions on this matter.

Feels like this whole topics become more of a Republican versus Democrat deal. Democrats only want to keep it because Republicans don't and Republicans want to get rid of it because Democrats are for it. Sure there are some people out there that I feel passionate about this debate but I feel like the vast majority are just blindly rooting for whatever team they're on. Sh*ts getting old. Surely we have better things to whine about right now. And whining and complaining is supposed to be a Democrat thing, I mean come on now

Its worse to have a kid brought into the world and be out in to the state custody to grow up in foster care where there are three times more likely to consider/commit suicide. Seven times as likely to experience depression Six times as likely to exhibit behavioral problems Five times as likely to feel anxiety Three times as likely to have attention deficit disorder, hearing impairments and vision issues Twice as likely to suffer from learning disabilities, developmental delays, asthma, obesity and speech problems Also 28% percent of kids in foster care are abused Many can be placed in over 30 homes during their time. And the reality is alot of people see it as free money for themselves to use and not to use for the child. Theb the day the turn 18 the state cleans their hands and tell then their on their own now.

Nice logic is worse to let someone have a chance to live than to kill them instantly. Better yet, have you imagine how these kids on foster care would have a better life, if those tax money where put in foster care istead of abortion clinics? More than 500 million a year, that would make a huge difference in those children's lives. Congratulations you completely destroyed yourself.

As I learned in my Constitutional law in University, "enacting legal change is precisely the role of the people’s elected representatives. Legislation is for the legislature, and if the people of the United States want to create a right to abortion, they have that power. They had that power before , and if Alito’s opinion holds, they will still have that power."

It is not a beautiful spark, it is a gooey mess. The whole point is that women have a right to decide what to do with their own bodies. If men had to carry the babies none of this would ever be mentioned. How would you like it if a bunch of women in suits that you did not know intruded on your doctor’s appt’s. What someone does with their own body should be sacrosanct.
