20:45 think this answers what i said earlier. the new receiver is a new technology, so i dont think it will pair with older ASUS/ROG tech, just newer ones using that technology which can pair two devices on the one receiver.

11:50 i think it is that button beside the nob. by default the lighting around the nob is synced with the lights with the rest of keyboard. but u can change it to indicate battery level/status. so while the RGB of the rest of the keyboard is synced, that button will only indicate the battery level. I dont know in what way but I assume green is 80-100, blue for mid range and red for low battery level.

I just got this and like you am very impressed. It looks gorgeous and its not even a full-sized keyboard. It has a sturdy and hefty feel which makes it seemed like a 'serious' keyboard.

11:32 you can switch between profiles on the keyboard and then use the nob to control light brightness. So the default is volume, then, i dont remember what key press combination you can use to switch profiles and to use the nob for lighting dimming, or skipping tracks of music etc. I am purchasing by this weekend so, I'll be able to know for SURE.

23:50 if you want clicky then get the STORM switches. They been shipping the SNOW switches for testing/reviews, not sure why it's the only one I have seen being tested. I thought it was because they are all out gamers, but you are tech in general, so maybe you should have been shipped the STORM switches.

Thanks for the video and the test. I don't get the option "Advanced Effects" to create my own profile with static lighting in my Armoury Crate software with Aura Creator while Aura Creator is already installed. Could you maybe export and share your static lighting profile? I saw there is an import option for profiles in .rog-format. That would be nice. :)

18:50 you can connect 2 devices via the 2.4GHz dongle with the Scope II 96. However, I am the moment dont know if it has to ASUS compatible products or any. Well I think it's only ASUS compatible products as it is a specific technology I think they created/introduced for their products. Not sure. I used to want pass through, but with bluetooth I really dont see the point and I can use the one usb c to charge both keyboard and mouse.

Will this work with ROG Ally?

Not much difference between 96% and 100% so I see no special need for 96%. However a 70% or tenkeyless keyboard makes great sense for its significantly compact size.
