Nobody could touch prime Federer. When he was on he was a force. Federer won most of his GS with Novak, Nadal and maurry playing. Even out of Federer prime he scared them. He might of not been this consistent anymore but he was still hard to beat and because is so good he won still not playing his best

same thing with the jordan lebron debate. Most points is a great feat but how many seasons did it take bron to do it? you can have 100k points or 50 slams but if you've been doing it for 50 years, well yeah any great athlete can do that.

One of his best slam performances, especially given that it came on the back of losing the number 1 ranking after many years and some pretty average form in 2008.

Federer is a bit overrated at the US Open, titles against old man Agassi, weak era Hewitt/Roddick and pre prime Djokovic/Murray

davydenko, nalbandian, safin, nadal, delpotro, tsonga, gasquet, roddick, there were plenty of top ten talent to trouble federer.. just not on hard fast courts.
