Boneraiser Minions is a god tier game, great replayablity for the price, sick tune and a very smart spin on the bullet heaven genre. Made by one man, just respect.

you are right! this reminds me back in the day when rock started with the subgenre branching.. then nowadays some metalheads started arguing to slash some genres and cut down the insanity ahahahha

Such a great work Clemmy!!! I'll always love my rogues. Sadly due to the recent dollarization of Steam in my country and all the economic problems in here, I won't be able to buy games anymore. But hey, it's nice to see indies thrive. Happy new year!

Roguelikes and Battle Royale games are very similar. Bullet heaven games also feel like simplified version of roguelikes with emphasis on leveling and character building. What I want to see explode in popularity is another variation of roguelikes: single-player extraction games. Both tarkov and dark and darker are immensely addicting but can also be very frustrating. Zero Sievert is an excellent example of a single player extraction and it does keep the addictive elements of the extraction genre, looting and loot gambling and those of roguelikes, like random generation, "permadeath" and high difficulty.

I have been away from gaming foe 7 years while moving around the Southeast. Roguelike/Roguelite are new to me. So glad to see this has branched to RPG style, Metroidvania, Shmups and more. Really love these concepts and have been on a Roguelike/Roguelite manhunt in the Shmup and Metroidvania flavors.

Honestly I'd love to see the next evolution of vampire survivors - like a smush of Diablo RPG and bullet heaven. I actually live Vampire Survivor clones quite a bit but its time for something a little more

There was another great Rogue lite game released recently called Trinity Fusion. It plays a lot like BlazBlue Entropy

Whoa! Bad case of DEJA-VU! One moment... while I also recover from a mega Head Rush, also! Ok, I'm back... filtering through so many - just 100 - at least it was not 2,000 which is what you had to do! "Small mercies, gods be good." Your hard work is appreciated! Shogun Showdown - Does indeed stand out for me. Turn-based more thinky-strategic good-decisions and a prim aesthetic too. Quasimorph - Is also Awesome! A bit more traditional roguelike than roguelite: Mission: Get in there, grab the stuff... Get out alive! Simple but highly effective. Empty Shell - the horror cctv bird's eye perspective is really cool presentation for this one. World Of Horror - equally has great simple art for horror atmosphere. Cuisineer - is channelling that Delicious in Dungeon spirit for sure! Wonderful aesthetic and combo of dungeons and cooking!

unfortunately my mind did drone out around the areas of back to back vampire survivor clones, but i did get a handful out of this that was interesting. So have that going for me at least. 👍

Cultivation is Qi/Ki/Chi, chakra, martial arts,and Asian elemental systems in stories that are from Asia/china or made based on Asia/china. they do have India influence.

i played almost of them but the one that i enjoy the most were greedventory (not a roguelite but an adventure game) Blazblue:Entroy Effect Astral Ascent (better with coop) Picayune Death must die(not in the video) halls of torment Magicraft SpellDisk phantom rose this are games that i remember i enjoyed ... i forgot some but there's more enjoyable and fun roguelites out there!

I don't think Have A Nice Death is actually very good. I've never played a roguelite that gives you so little agency over your power gains, upgrades, and overall build focus or choice. I couldn't get into the game, despite really liking the aesthetic. I mean, hell, I can't even choose the specific weapon I want each run, let alone can even narrow down the powers I wanted. Overall, it ended up just being so mundane grinding in--not because of grinding upgrades, but grinding the runs themselves to get a good spread of powers. It ends up being way too slow a burn for me. Similarly, I didn't like Curse of the Dead Gods (Ravenswatch precursor?), as it similarly lacked variety, and had a monumental grind for unlocks, but it at least offered me more agency over progression in runs. Ember Knights, Against the Storm, and Astral Ascent are all good games, though the latter's run duration averages an hour for a completion, which is surprising, since I've never had any other game in the genre crack 45 minutes.

While a lot of these games look like fun way to many of them have over the top screen shake, to the point where it made the video hard to watch. For any of the games that I'm interested in I will have to find out if it can be turned off or I can't play them 😟
