@@RinandStyx Typically, my rule of thumb is, unless i have seen the rogue use his invis i just straight up dont chase him. And if i hear footsteps in a room adjacent to me, i dont push in without thinking. Following these rules i have yet to be landmined

@@axelpds8096 I was talking in a design sense not in a dark and darker sense. If you look at other games with characters that go invisible such as league or smite off the top of my head.

I was just experimenting with it, usually I focus on str/vigor.

str is kinda useless now, it does nothing other than 1 phys power per strength, but why get strength when u can get phys power at a bigger amount on pretty much everything

@@DioBrando-iq9no str also gives hp, just at a lower amount than vigor does

Running up in someone's face with ambush and shadow runner with weak point lets you 3 tap everyone in 2 seconds so it's not exactly a huge issue

The armor pen from that perk only applies to the percentage of PDR itself. So if someone has 65% PDR, 20% armor pen is only 20% of that 65%. With Weakpoint against 65% PDR, you're lowering 65% to 36%, and then the perk only penetrates 20% of 36%, which is 7%. I'd rather take a 30% damage increase that applies to every fight over a 7% armor reduction that's only worth it against specifically PDR fighters.

no, thrust sucks. 20% armor pen is only 20% of their pdr value, so 20% PDR x 0.8 = 16% pdr. 50% pdr x 0.8 =40% pdr. weakpoint makes thrust completely useless

At leadt rogue still get 2 tapped by any class even a gray arming sword hahaha one shot blow of corruption with stacked souls and a falchion will one shot em. So will 3 OP azz Magic Missles. Its glass cannon. Cant have rogue weak and also do no dps…

This game is rock paper scissors. If you bait out the ambush, rouge still gets one tapped by a gray gear barb or slayer fighter. And if he has pdr, it's ggs unless you like fighting a dark souls boss. At the same time that pdr fighter gets shredded by a wizard, who then gets two tapped by a ranger, who then (full circle) dies to a rouge. That's just how the game is

It's not too bad, pretty similar to Rondel, just a moveset preference. I prefer Rondel because the thrust bumps a lot less than the Kris's horizontal swing.

Thrust only penetrates 20% of someone's specific PDR. So if they have 20% PDR, you're not negating their PDR down to 0%, you're only lowering it to 16%. Against a weakpointed 65% PDR fighter, you only penetrate an extra 7% PDR, and it's a perk that is ONLY worth using against a PDR fighter, so you get minimal benefit from fighting any other class.

Can get decent ones for 150g

108 ms isnt that hard for rogue though. Especially when you don't run top. Base kit rogue without a weapon is usually almost 300 ms

108% ms isnt the BEST gear but its not bad gear. It takes decent gear to get to 108%@@Incendent

@@PrinceCahil No, I think that is stupid too. Overall, I think damage application on players is just far too fast in DaD. Either lessen damage overall or give everyone far more hp.

Yea the rogue is so busted, can kill every class 3 tap, no counter class except maybe ranger cause of traps, they inflate the market cause they can just farm every loot spot and landmine. 90% player base play rogue , every lobby is literally 70 % rogue. makes the game feel bad for solos/duos. Can’t enjoy any other class, wizard warlock fighter barb are all useless basically after last patch unless your insanely good even then if the rogue is good you are screwed. Just makes the game cringe because everyone is playing landmine no real action or thrill of the fight just 2 seconds and game is over.
