Synopsis:
When Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) & Simran (Kajol) first met on an inter-rail holiday in Europe, it wasn't exactly Love at first sight...but when Simran is taken back to India for an arranged marriage, Love makes its presence felt.
Encouraged by his father Dharamvir (Anupam Kher - Bend it like Beckham & ER), Raj decides to fly down from London to not just win his Bride but her whole family and the blessings of her father Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri - Indiana Jones & Temple of Doom). All this while the celebrations for her wedding are in full swing.
The longest running film in Indian Cinema released on 20th October 1995 and is still showing in Mumbai (India). It won every major award in the year of release & Shah Rukh Khan shot to superstardom with this film and it defined the term "Bollywood".

They are the most magical jodi ever in bollywood. The scene play made me smile and brought tears to my eyes. There is definitely no one that will be able to match them. Can't wait for dilwali but most importantly thank you srk and kajol for ddlj. How do you as a human being sit watching your spouse constantly hugging and kissing someone else besides their “off screen” time ? Haven’t you seen enough of the original couple (SRK and Gauri) screened live ? Compare that to this you will see exactly what I mean. The J factor will come automatically no matter how hard you try not to show off. We are human beings and we have emotions. Neither Gauri nor Ajay are saints. They are humans with emotions.

It's really sad that audience nowadays don't like such sweet rommance and call it off a flop(in case of Dilwale). I hope SRK and Kajol to be best friends forever.

I think Dilwale was not a flop it just did not gather what was expected. The movie focussed on a million char around them instead of SRKajol, ppl wanted to see them together not so many stupid characters. Wish they would do a romantic movie soon. And yes, even I wonder how ppl never linked these two, if SRK was around any other actress like he's around Kajol there would surely be so many rumours.

I don't think she get skin lightening, somehow women's skin, especially those from good financial tend to lightening by time, maybe because the change of environment, when younger you mostly spend time outdoor and now mostly indoor or in a car with aircond, like my elder sister, her skin is much lighter now (she's 40) than when she was still a teenager to early 20s, so I think aircond and good skin care do the trick
