Great video Terry, I did a 5 km walk from the Old Roker Park stadium site to the Stadium of Light last summer. The views of Roker and Seaburn from Roker Pier are stunning.

We came up for the Norwich and Huddersfield games back in August. Loved the video which brought back happy memories of an area that I have grown to love ❤️

Thanks for running my suggestion, so many memories, my dad Bryan Spain moved us down to Liverpool in the 1970s for work reasons but he took us to pretty much to every home and away game. Best chippy was just opposite The Derby is it still there? I still live in Liverpool but have bought my two kids up supporting the lads!! Which is easy in a city with two rubbish footie teams!! Thanks Terry for your channel you'll never know how much it means to me and my family. God bless.

Wow, not seen the area since going to the games there in the 90’s Most of my memories of the ground was the noise and the atmosphere but I have a lot of memories of ice cold blocks of ice for feet standing in the Fulwell and occasionally the Roker end with no roof lol

I think Downey’s fish and chips you run past on Roker are the best fish and chips in the world. I would come back all the way from Sydney to just have fish and chips there. 😊 I think my mum would even come back from the other side of fish and chips there her favourite food in the world.
