I forgot to mention that this kit retails for $199.99. It has 482 pieces and it took me about three days to put it together. Also, be sure to use a power block that's 5 volts and 2 amp otherwise the game keeps resetting in the middle of a game. Also the game resets after it reaches 1,000 points. I also bought this model. I’ve done a lot of models by Ugears and some by ROKR. To date this is the best one. I noticed when you were showing the completed underside, one of your light strips had the lights facing the up. You need to put a twist in the strip when you thread it under so the light shines down. This way the side decorations will light up. Not a big deal.

Received mine yesterday, 9 August 2023. Got through page 11 last night before stopping for the night. So far a very fun build. This is my first model of this type though with my decades of different modeling genres I'm convinced I'll do well with it. The metal pinballs were a bit smaller than I imagined when I first saw them during unpacking.

I've got the same pinball :) You forgot to put the rubber band around the base of the seal thing that rotates. The pinball doesn't give extra balls but I discovered that using a Quickcharge or Power Delivery power brick sometimes makes the pinball reset itself in the middle of a game, canceling all you score and giving you back 6 balls. So I would recommend a very basic 10W charger (2A, 5V) to prevent that. If you lose all 6 balls of course the game is over, but once you lit all 10 stars, you get the little fanfare music and the game is over as well. So you can't do scoring on this toy, you can only try and lit all 10 stars and that's it. Still a cute and fun toy though :) I've added another switch at the back, near the plug, so that I won't have to unplug the pinball after every game, I think they should have done so to begin with...

Would've been cool if they could've gotten the side bumpers to work, but it looks like the rubber bands seem to work fine, as well. Thanks for sharing this. I have just finnished the Grammophone from Rokr and I'm now buildimg their victorian clock and I am amazed at how well everything fits and how many cool details they have. I think I'm going to build the Pinball machine too! I love it!

I'm working on mine at the moment having received it yesterday 9 Aug 2023.. After I initially ordered it I started thinking of ways to jazz it up. I might ad some UV blacklight LED lighting and flourescent craft paint to spice it up. I am also considering the same UV blacklight treatment internally and replacing the red translucent panels with clear frosted translucent panels so it glows internally as well.

I saw this nifty kit on Facebook and had to check it out on KZfaq. You did well in showing on how to assemble it and then giving a demo of the pinball gameplay and its minor flaws, very nice. I like to see a decorative one, a painted design, as the wood colour looks a bit bland. Guess I'll do one myself once I get my hands on this beauty. 😁

Put this together last weekend, about 10 hours of work....and unfortunately our 4 year old was playing a little too aggressively and broke the connector on the flipper. Honestly, I am so defeated that I would have to take the bottom off and to fix the connector I havent done it yet. Its a beautifully crafted piece....and there was a lot of thought put into it for sure. Excellent video sire!

A trick I learned Building Guitar school. Might help those bends work without breaking is soak the wood in almost boiling water. It softens the wood and less likely to break. Waiting for MY pinball machine! Ill be careful of that so thx for advice!

I built one of these. Really cool! Only downsides are that the score maxes out at 1000 points, and the middle ramp likes to jump the ball over the track. One mod I saw, he made a tunnel out of the red scrap material to make a tube lid for the ramp so the ball can’t jump.

Robotime and Rokr are the same company - Rokr is apparently their sub-brand focusing on "mechanical drive" puzzles. Rowood is also a Robotime brand.

This is quite Impressive for what it is, as is. I think the only major thing that they should have changed, is to make the pop bumpers static, and instead, make the Kickers Live, as well as electronic Flippers. Those would effect the gameplay much more than the pop bumpers. That said... It would not be that difficult to modify the Kickers and Flippers to be Electronic. You can have a separate power source for them, and they will operate by very simple leaf-switches. You can search actual pinball parts, to see how these things are constructed + function. Its fairly simple. I suppose the only tricky thing might be, in finding the correct power levels, so that the flippers have enough power to get up ramps.. but not TOO powerful, that it launches the ball into the next room. Maybe a simple "Adjustable Pot", to control the power levels. To make the game play smoother... A few coats of Polyurathane to seal the wood surface, and make it very glossy / slick... would probably help greatly. Though, it might end up playing "Too Fast" as a result. You could experiment by cutting some clear plastic sheet material (like Laser Printer / Projection film), and laying it on top of the wood... and giving it some test plays. Real Pinball machines often have plastic Mylar film glues to the surface... especially in "High-Wear" areas (such as where a Ball Drops down onto the field constantly). The mylar film protects the Screen Printed artwork, as well as makes the surface easy to clean and Polish. If the LED strips are visible at certain angles, one might consider using some plastic that is more white (opaque), and helps to diffuse the light a little better. Also, if one wanted certain colored lighting in certain areas, one might add colored film over the LEDs in those areas. One might be able to make the Elephants mechanically go from a walking position, to standing on their Two back legs, when the Kickers fire... somewhat similar to Elvira's "Scarred Stiff" pinball machine.. (with the Monsters that Jump upwards, when the targets are Hit). Typical Pinball machines have Rubber banding on the Flippers. It helps to give more Bounce energy, as well as to protect the plastic from cracking. Would probably improve playability in this game too. They should make a version that has connections for a cheap phone (or tablet) to be inserted into the backbox. In that way, you would get visible Animations, scoring display, and superior music / sound effects The Black Bells, Flippers, and Plunger Knob... sort of Clash a little with the Wooden Look. Might be nice to paint them in Metallic spray. Maybe Brass, Or even Gold Leaf. You will have to clearcoat them with a few layers, to protect any paint from chipping/wearing off. Adding metal ball Railing might be cool too. The thing might look pretty cool, if painted with UV Blacklight paints, and then you could play the thing while Black lights are on in the room (or potentially replace the LED strip with UV strip. Be careful with them... as if they are too bright, they can be bad for the eyes). The biggest issues with Playability, is actually the Scale. Small balls are much lighter than normal pinballs.. and so they can move too quickly... and not have enough "Mass Effects". It would be wild if they could make larger / normal scale versions... with upgradeable parts / assemblies, and with the ability to Program your own Machine effects / gameplay/ sounds...etc. Actually, you could probably use the Driver Solenoids from the pop bumpers to power the Kickers... and change the pop bumpers to use simple motor drive Spinning wheels. Each wheel would need a rubber bumper on them. Once the ball hits the Spinning bumpers, then will fly around the playfield areas. You could make the left side bumpers rotate counter clockwise, and the right side bumper, rotate clockwise. This will give better chances of the ball being flung into the other bumpers a few more times. Finally, it wouldnt be difficult to add other Led Lights.. bother under things, or in Spot-Light fixtures, above the field, pointing down at the field, to give more custom illumination / effects. At minimum, they should Sell upgrade kits, so that people could add-on to their Base machines, as they can afford it. Such as selling Powered Flipper, and Powered Kicker Kits. Anyway.. its quite a cool little toy. Thanks for the video.

Just finished building it. The last chunk of the build was both painful (so many small pegs), and unnerving. Lets just say I'm glad they gave us duplicates of the bendy wood. I broke two of them. I'm playing from the USB on my computer. it's a USB C and it will reset the game at that output. I wish the USB plug they gave us was a regular outlet plug instead. Gotta find a usb plug block now..

The clear plastic bumpers threw me also, I noticed the no1 and 2 were different as marked on the spru, they were marked ok but there are only 2 supplied as marked, and yet on page 23 the assemblies need 6!? 11 plastic supports needed in total, I have 9 of the smaller ones N1 and only 2 of the longer ones N2. The biggest bubaboo for me was keeping the LED strip on the left side near the exit ramp from twisting.

I built my pinball machine and I love it. All works fine except one infrared sensor, that triggers continously without a passing ball. Idk why - cable is connected properly and there´s nothing in front of the sensor. I disconnected the cable now to be able to play the game - but the price is: these points won´t be counted anymore - and the positive sound effect of this guy is missing. Anyone here has an idea what could fix the issue?

I suggest that you leave the spinning seal out of it. It looks cool but it's way more fun to play without it. It's in a bad spot and makes it nearly impossible to hit the central ramp and it just deflects way too many fun shots. Have fun people!

Thanks for this video! Your description around 15:40 about that part of the ramp build... Those parts of the steps are driving me insane. I can't for the life of me get the "supports" to just stay where they are so that the rest of that part of the ramp can be locked down. I thought I finally had all of those pieces locked in but once I got to the step of putting the entire right side assembly on, everything ramp-wise in that area fell apart. I think it might be time to pull out wood glue to secure everything in that problem ramp area. B/c putting the right side on requires every single peg to already be secured and in perfect placement. Did you find yourself using glue? I hate to do that but at this point it seems like that's my only option.

Hmm, in my game I don't seem to get score for shooting the left most tunnel. Can someone confirm this is correct or did I miss a sensor?

Does the pinball have a scoreboard or a place to look at the score you have during the game or at the end of the game?

When I assembled mine, the plunger can’t propel the ball up the ramp. The ball starts on a flat surface then has to jump over a small lip to go up the ramp, because the two surfaces do not align. Everything else does.

Now, If they offered an optional Relay-Logic Kit to go with it? I would be beating their door down to get it.
