No kidding baras jus lets his apprentice walk all over him it's a wonder he's still alive. Baras allows such insolence while other sith lords would respond with lethal force without hesitation for far less. You would think other sith would perceive him as laughably weak.

Depend on dialogue choice, his betrayal can feel less "You've outlive your usefulness" and more "I'm tired of all the sass".

@Mr. Al The annoying thing is, when they first showed off Darth Baras in the comics released prior to launch, he was a different character both in personality and appearance. It's a pity they didn't take on the characteristics from the comics, and instead just created a character and called it the name of an existing character.

@@alexander9703 Personality wise I disagree. Baras was always as cunning and intelligence like he was in the comics. He was the negotiator in the treaty and a good liar (His face in the treaty doesn't suggest he wishes harm) and in SWTOR he had the tolerance to handle our character's immaturity in alternate dialogue options as well as the fact that he lied to the Council of him becoming the Voice. But in apperance I would agree wtih you, but you can kinda see the similarity on Baras' comic face as well as the game's.

I'm convinced that to some degree, Baras legitimately finds the constant sass amusing, and it's only when the Warrior has grown powerful enough to pose a legitimate threat to him that Baras betrays the Warrior.

While I agree that is the most satisfying from a revenge POV, I can't get past the fact he replaces you then tries to have you killed meaning his death is the only answer.

You could choose to spare him then kill him after Vowrawn spoke. That seems to elicit the greatest anguish from him.

The problem there is, he or one of his many agents might break him free. In planning to do a Light Sith playthrough but the only real Dark side choice I'm doing is killing him

True, but I assumed someone so smart would be able to detect patterns. Not one single person has taken on his new apprentice and survived, yet he discards them.

That would explain his complete tolerance of your attitude considering his Yes Men most likely fear him to. He probably has a grin on his face everytime you do it considering when you do see him smiling later you just know he wouldn't be able to hide that level of amusement without a mask.

Then again there's also the consular's or the trooper's storyline... they are so boring IMO.

its a shame bioware didnt do as good with andromeda............ and i loved that game too, just left a bit to be desired

@Red Rat no i am, ive played and beat andromeda twice over................. was just saying there was a lot more that could have been done with the game such as having the quarian ark able to be searched for at the least even if the results may have been rather grim (didnt read the book where they apparently went into more detail in that regard so i dont have much knowledge there) and yes i know they named it andromeda for reasons................ but why only let us explore 1 single cluster in the entire galaxy that the game is named after............. hell even the first mass effect game did better in terms of exploration.................... dont get me wrong as i stated over a year ago i loved ans till do love mass effect andromeda despite all the hate it still gets (some of the hate is understandable, but some is essentially pissing on bioware for not providing what the fans really wanted, and some is just typical haters that hate on anything they dont like when they first see it and never look at it again regardless of any improvements that may be made)

I'm not a music person, but I agree that it's very memorable. He might be mocked by the fan community but he's the reason so many people rank SW's story above others. No other story had such a natural flow between all 3 chapters.

Not to mention Baras was one of the few characters that were relevant through all 3 chapters. Other classes have Villain for each chapter. Skavak, Vivikar etc.

Seth Snake depends on the warrior too, really. This girl started out as a LS flowerchild, pretty dress and all. And then I had to admit that the game just isn't giving me enough to work with, so I did a sharp 180. Now she's a body type 3 armor clad corrupted badass, see any of my later videos for it!
