Very helpful - I've had a FA06 for a couple of months and I have leant more in this series - great video for beginners learning.

How do I continue the sequence, adding say, 4 more bars, and then a fill from the preset pattern? You guys always show how to start it, but I want to see how a track is put together, intro, verse, bridge, chorus, etc. to the end.

You simply adjust loop time from 4 bars to 8. And then to 12 and so on. Of course, you can loop sections in a middle or at the end. Also you can do linear recording.

Can anybody tell me what to do, because I took out the SD card, but putting it back it, it not being recognized. I also can't put another one in. I tell it to format the new card and it says it can't. That was a 16 GB one. The 4GB one is the one that is not recognized now that I am putting back into the Roland FA 06. So I can't get anything recognized by it, even the one that worked when taken out, the original one.

I noticed with the format as card it tells you pretty much to DELETE CARD IN ENTIRETY LOOK UP WETHER OR NOT THE NEW ONE NEEDS TO BE FORMATTED TO WORK WITH THE FA 06 REMEMBER THAT THE FA 06 HAS TO HAVE THE PROPER FOLDERS TO BE RECOGNIZED SO JUST FOLLOW THE SETUP OF THE ONE THAT WORKS BY COPYING THE FOLDER SETUP FROM THE ONE THAT WORKS TO THE ONE THAT DOESN'T. Format meaning setup ex. Curriculum Peace

Great tutorial, Ed. I have a question, though: why, in Bar 3, track 4 (the Bass sound) seems to be absent? while for the other tracks all bars have content...

How do you adjust the volume of the rhythm patterns, their default is very loud.

You can adjust volumes of individual steps in pattern editor (needs to be saved as user pattern) or adjust volume of drum channel in part mixer.

What if you wanna make a song that isnt just a loop of the same few.chords ?? And how do you mix the parts ?

sometimes chord memory or the arpeggio only works on CH1 and not the others. any ideas?

I guess it always works this way, like in the video - only CH1 piano patch was affected by chord roll. In arpreggiator's edit page you have option to choose different destination channel and chord memory will work with that channel too, but no longer on CH1.
