The Roland FA-08 is a flagship music workstation for live and studio use. It's long been a dilemma that most workstations were good for studio or live applications, but never both.
The new FA-08 has a built in audio interface and DAW integration for studio sessions whilst the pro quality, weighted action keyboard and 16kg weight are great for live players. All this plus a huge collection of popular Integra-7 sounds spanning a huge musical range, 16 parts with their own effects engines with 67 effect types, dedicated processors for drums, EQ, chorus and reverb, a powerful sampler and easy to use sequencer.

I love my FA-07. It’s my primary sequencer for developing music. By time I move the song to my daw it’s already 90% complete and ready for mixing and mastering.

Amazing I have one and I’m on the helix rack and native software thinking that I needed it but I can synth on my own thank you❤❤❤❤

I really enjoy your reviews.. It's simple and straight to the point.. I'm really inclined to get this keyboard, just for the simplicity of sampling... I Luv the modx, but it seems to complex, despite the touch screen....

Скажите, пожалуйста, можно ли изменить частоту ударов сэмлов барабанов в загруженных банках этого синтезатора? Например, Bank 2, pad 16, мне необходимо изменить темп на более медленный, - имеется ли возможность это сделать?

Hi very informative video! - Just a question here - Can the 16 pads be used to select sounds (Multi layers/splits etc) that you've created for using in a live ' on stage' situation?

Is it a 16 track studio? listen I trust the sounds does it have on board memory for storing arrangements accompaniment tracks original compositions?

Yes, it is 16 part multitimbral, it can play and record 16 track midi songs. Also, on one of the tracks you can place 4 audio tracks (samples) to be played simultaneously. Of course you can store songs you've created on SD card, but it's not an arranger, it doesn't have auto-accompaniment functions built in and it doesn't have speakers.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask a mechanical question, but...My Roland FA-08, which I love, has developed a double-strike (repeating note) on the G4 key. Is there an easy way to fix this?

disassemble, take off the rubber grip of keybed, brush it with rubbing alcohol and you're good to go

i own a FA 06 great keyboard ! but please Roland PLEASE. a firmware update to add a option for -15 velocity on black keys!!!! or just fix it outright make the velocity values the same as the white or be able to adjust in more detail. A little digging and you will see im not alone. I have to route midi to a DAW, run it though a plugin to tone black key velocity down, and run it back into the FA . its unnecessary . for many this is a deal breaker for the FA 06, its not a good look. come on folks at Roland have some respect for the musicians who love your products. my MODX06 velocity is consistent . Thanks please forward to the programming department -icemonk
