This is the original video owners manual for the Roland GR-30 guitar synthesizer. I do not own rights to this video. I searched for it and could not find it. I uploaded here for historical preservation and educational purposes. This is a rip I made from my original VHS that came with the GR-30 when I purchased it new.

Excellent! I bought it years ago, did quite some recording to midi with it. Yesterday I put it back on my G&L and was a bit lost in the beginning and still have some questions! Glad to find this video! Thanks a lot!

My GR30 didn't come with this video but I did order it from eBay and never received it. So many may thanks as it been a few years since I turned it on and this is an awesome refresher

If I remember correctly the video did not automatically come with the unit. I had to order the video as an extra purchase.

A+ video tutorrial. fof the gr-30. nick really did a fantastic job super packed with precise relevant information on so many possible angles.whether it's editing modes or live performance applications he covers them thouroughly all while presenting it in a simple no non sense way that gives keen insight and inspiration for what are never ending fury of great ideas for the gr-30's use... i can't say enough about nick cooper other than well done lad..!!!

I cant get it to work with cubase win 10, as a midi devise.I use a midi to usb interphase which is recognised by cubase as usb midi 1,but no signal appears to the aprox channel. I follow the procedure as, local off,poly 1p,left knob to midi,right knob to D and midi out to midi in interphase and any channel in cubase. Any thoughts?

Does anybody know if is there a similar video to GR33? I have it and I just dont know how to use it because I don't know how to work with the parameters. Can anybody help?

I have a gr 33 here and I am trying to mix in with the effects chain I have already running.Where is my line in/out at? Can't recall where my manual is right now. Thanks

My guitar plays through the unit but when on synth I get nothing cant figure out what is wrong

I own a Roland GR33 and a Godin Multiact nylon and in all the patches I use, I would always have the 5 and 6 string, with a fixed bass sound. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Thank you Possiedo un GR33 Roland e una Godin Multiact nylon e vorrei in tutte le patch che uso, avere sempre la 5 e 6 corda, con un suono fisso di basso. Qualcuno sa dirmi come fare? Grazie

I don't know. Try doing an online search. There is a V-guitar forum out there.
