A quick demo running through a few patches on the Roland RP701 digital piano. The shoot was a rather impromptu one which turned out rather hilarious. Video produced for RAP Distribution Sdn Bhd.

How do the internal speakers sound in person, both from a sound quality and volume perspective?

The sound is pretty good in my opinion. The speakers don’t crack up when played at max level as well. I think it goes up to about similar loudness of an acoustic piano. Best is to try one out at a store

Hi, I think it depends on how you’re intending to use your piano. The RP701 would be good for home use whereas the FP-60X would be more for those who may be lugging it out to gigs as it is portable
