Hall of fame in my eyes he was the premier player in Miami and Charlotte and one of the best scorer in the 90's

in 94 the heat led by glen rice lost in round 1 to the hawks while the 41-41 hornets missed the playoffs with 22 games missed by star alonzo mourning

i'm NOT certain why but in 96 the 41-41 hornets missed the playoffs when led by glen rice and the heat lost in round 1 to the bulls led by legend michael jordan and pat riley decreased the eliteness of alonzo mourning

I was born in 1990 for perspective, but Rice was my first favorite NBA player. Good content, got my sub

One of the more underappreciated players from that era. Now he's known primarily as just a 3-point shooter, but was dangerous driving to the hoop and due to his length, was unstoppable in the post against other SF's. He had some nagging injuries in the late 90's and was never the same from the time he showed up in LA and on. Plus the Lakers reportedly only wanted him to be a spot up shooter and nothing else, so he did enjoy his time there, despite winning a championship.

"Role player" lol. Glen Rice was literally the first option in every team he was in until he went to the Lakers to play 3rd fiddle to Shaq and Kobe.

Glenn was no role player, he was the primary offensive option for the most part of his career. Later on with the Lakers and Knicks, Clippers he was a role player.
