Need DAoC style guild emblems on shields and cloaks. It was so glorious, and really created a sense of awe and wonder to the organization and identity. I loved it so much.

RP is normally something I don't engage with. But Maybe I'll do some light RP. I haven't had an absolutely terrible experience with VOIP. I really enjoy being able to chat with people I come across without typing

Mayors hosting node events for citizens once a week and rewarding citizens with node currency could be a neat idea. Small group coliseum fight or fashion show 😮

I'm with you on this Kash! $15 back in late 2004 (launch of WOW) would be $25 today! If Intrepid is only charging $15 month today, they do need another way to generate some income to help support the game and I think an optional shop with cosmetics and perhaps even some emotes is reasonable. No P2W of course!

Maybe they’re so confident in their game that they believe most players will play for at least 4 months to cover the $60 price most games get released at 👀

please have a monetization debate! AoC no p2W+convenience is the primary reason why i'm excited for the game (probably a huge reason for most). cosmetic vs only sub fee is still a hot topic.

Convenience features like dungeon finders undermine socializing in MMORPGs. People won't know what they are missing when they rely on convenience features. I would prefer stripped back systems so that players have to talk to other players to do particular things. No auto-grouping or group finding, no dungeon finding and teleporting, nothing of the kind. People will complain, but they will find that they love it and it helps define the genre.
