Now that it's been a year since I've owned the Explorer II reference 16570, it's about time for me to give you guys an update. The Explorer II is a great watch, but that does not mean it is a perfect watch. In terms of wearability and versatility, it is excellent, but the lack of longevity in the lume and the rattily bracelet can be considered as "flaws". Torn between the Explorer 2 and a Milgaus, both with black dials. They are both understated, which is what I want and have some personality. Tried a Milgaus on recently and loved the feel, just not sure if it is too highly polished for regular wear/use. Any help appreciated. Nice video man.

I actually prefer the older oyster bracelets with the hollow center link because the bracelets are lighter than the solid bracelets, and to me, more comfortable. I know it's a personal thing, but I don't prefer the newer bracelets that are all solid and weigh more.

this watches are discreet .. most people will not notice it unlike my other watches

As you age, you will find that it will become more difficult to read the watch. The contrast is not great between the thin hands and the black dial. Until then, it is an awesome watch.
