Concerning the BoR bracelet: be aware that the end links don’t fit perfectly - there’s a microscopic gap to the sides of the case that allows the end links to move up “Lambo doors”-style. My fix for it was to apply a mild plastic adhesive that scrubs easily should you decide to take the bracelet off later.

Those are all outstanding watches, but I believe the quality of this Wise is on par. Don't take my word for it, you might wanna check the comparison Peter Kotsa did between this one and a $4000 Seiko. The downside is not being able to handle the watch before buying... I have two more recommendations, seeing you're rather looking for GADA style: Dryden Heartlander (very Ranger-esque) and Ball Fireman Victory (outstanding value at Gnomon). Oh, man, I’m really sorry! I just double checked and you’re right, there are options for all watches but the AD8… No, the AD9 bracelet won’t work on the AD8 - I know that because I wear my AD9 on a Houtman bracelet and the AD8 on the H Archer bracelet you’ve just seen, but they can’t be swapped (the Houtman is too big for the AD8). Apologies…

Edit: btw you don't have a Seiko SARB035/033 do you? I have found bracelets that fit that watch are swappable with a couple other watches I have. If you could get a SARB compatible bracelet on it I would be happy to buy one too.

Thank you for your nice feedback! I know this might sound strange (dangerous, even!), but I don't have any Seikos (or Casios) in my collection. I find the Seikos overpriced and Casios don't do anything for me.

The only watch I had such wild readings turned out to be magnetised, so I would check that with a compass.

@@watchyawant interesting. I have designs on making this the only diver in my collection too. Occasionally I strike up an interest in divers, purely aesthetically, yet very few make my 'to watch' list and even then, when critically reviewing I feel they're unlikely to wear in a way that I could truly appreciate. For example, the Nordsø is a great watch and is my first diver, but it's the only watch that despite everything that's great about it, I was immediately unsure about whether I'd keep it. Now that is leading to me wearing it less. Actually I don't mind it when it's on my wrist. It's factually very thin, but the flat black bezel and flat sapphire make it far more present than my other watches. I'm sure nobody would bat an eyelid, but I guess it's just not my style even if I can appreciate it as an object, design, and a very well made watch. I promised myself not to go for another diver, but when I saw live footage on the current deep green bronze LE, something just clicked, as if the AD8 always had been intended to look this way. The gold and green combo already featured in my ever growing list for some time. So, I guess I'll find out how foolish I am for going for a diver and bronze, both of which I feel unsure about (I love the warm unpatinated bronze).

@@benjaminvis , very interesting choice! I had my bronze "age" a while back and I always thought the best dial colour to complement it would be dark green. I agree AD8's skindiver "vintageness" makes it look great in bronze, but that comes with a couple of compromises I don't know if I'm willing to make: renouncing the 904L steel and not being able to wear it on a bracelet. On the upside I get it that many might be happy to trade the patterned dial of the one I have for the sunburst gravel textured green one. Decisions, decisions|!... 😂 Whatever you will decide, though, I love the process and I know you'll behappy with your pick.
