The lume on the markers and the hands does age, theres some examples on Chrono. Also what will help value is the fact that its the last "classic" sub with drilled lugholes and 2 line dial. Good video bro :)

My 1992 sub is the opposite, the bezel pip hasn't aged but the dial markers have.

I own this watch from new. The bracelet is light flexible and very very comfortable. It also keeps the weight down

Hi. Can you help me decide? I'm looking at this used 14060 year 1996 tritium with no box and papers but with rolex Guaranteed authenticity priced at $4611 Then there is this 2014 Rolex 114060 with box and papers priced at $5252 I do admit that the maxidial and the cerachrome looks nice but I can't let go of the vintage appeal of the 14060. What makes me want the 14060 even if it has no box and papers is because I plan to save up for the GMT II batman next year. And the maxidial of the 114060 is more or less the same with the GMT II. I don't know I'm confused. Please help. Thanks

Thank you for the review! In your video you say that the glossy dial is most likely not going to fade (patina). Why do you think this? Because of the glossy finish? The indices have tritium, right? Just curious, thanks again! :-)

I think the value is already going up on those, a clean one with box and papers is already in the high 5k even in the low 6k, almost same price as a second hand newer ceramic no date.

Nice piece, were you describing the lugs or the crown guards?

Just look at some photos or other videos and you can clearly see the lumes have aged markedly - not hard to research that before making the vid!
