I was looking for something a little bit different, but a little bit the same and decided to revisit the book nook projects...this one looks like it should be fun, it reminds me of Dragon Alley from the Harry Potter books.

You’re welcome, I really liked how this one turned out, I think it’s the best looking book nook I’ve done so far.

That looks great, Daniel. It didn't look too complicated. It is quite unique.

I was very pleased with how it turned out, the lighting seemed to work better than the train one I did a while black, too.

Good morning. Yea it really tested my patience and attention span! Lol. I also bought Kikis Magic Emporium to try next. I have never tried projects like these before.

One question though. What do I do with the exposed part of the wires? I don't have that cap like you did. Thanks again.

It should have come with some little black stickers, that’s what they use as electrical tape.

Do the wires come precut, ready to twist wires together?
@Dbuilderguy4 ай бұрын
I think they are pre cut, but I usually strip a little more insulation off to make it easier.

Mine one doesn't light up for some reason. The batteries work when I put them elsewhere and I've done everything that you have

All you can do is trace all the wires and double check that you have good connections, it’s always possible that you got a bad switch box though. In theory you should be able to test the individual lights by holding the wires to the ends of a battery.

thanks a lot for the video. I am interested in getting one too, but do u think it will collect dust over time... how to cover the front side? the big Magic House sign will get in the way if plexiglass is used 🤔🤔
@Dbuilderguy Жыл бұрын
It probably would collect dust, I’d find some of that thin plastic film and glue it to the inside of the front cover.

It just occurred to me that you’d also have to move the light switch if you did this, but I think that’s doable, just put it on the side instead of the inside.

It just occurred to me that you might want to check out kzfaq.info/get/bejne/er59nseLv67bf6M.html it does have the front cover over it, it's not as detailed as the book nook, but it is a similar 3D type model.
