All of your chins seem to have no problem being held. How did you accomplish this? My little man trusts me a lot, and I’m pretty sure he knows I’m not going to hurt him when I pick him- but that doesn’t stop him from throwing a tantrum anyway. Any tips?

I would give him treats while you hold him, or toys, or sticks, whatever he likes most! Also a lot of chins like the option of climbing on you during play time, so I've found that to be really helpful too, so they can get comfortable being on you!

@@chinpals That's how I accustom my rabbits to me too. Lying down when they're playing so they can climb on me. Once a rabbit bonds with me though they don't let other rabbits climb on me, that right becomes theirs exclusively.

Bordering on cruel. Animals aren't toys for your amusement or for likes. The kind of behavior Id expect from a pre teen.

First, this owner has been called one of the best when it comes to proper Chinchilla caretaking, and knows how to have safe fun with her little guys to give them some fun exercise, they get upset and grumpy if they don't get it. And I'd suggest watching her videos that show how well she provides important information on Chinchillas before thinking you had to post a lecture on this wonderful channel.

Wow - this owner is amazing and never, ever does anything remotely cruel with her chins. Her chins have wonderful lives, and she has been incredibly great about explaining proper chin care on this channel. You clearly have never watched, or you would know this.
