1:05 I wanna note here. Optimus Prime follows Geneva Conventions during his action scene. He does not kill a single Decepticon until they fire upon him in this scene.

At the same time though, would it count as breaking the convention if he fired first because they weren’t retreating from him, they were trying to get further into the city to kill more Autobots, it’s still an active war zone

I don't think alien robots are actually subject to the Geneva convention.

@garganrose Actually, the Transformers have an equivalent to the Geneva Convention known as the Tyrest Accords in the IDW Comics. It's basically the same thing. Though, both factions have representatives who ensure both sides are following the rules and arrest anyone who isn't. The Autobots' representative is Ultra Magnus. Can't remember who his Decepticon opposite number is. Not sure if that's in the Geneva Convention, I just thought it was worth mentioning.

Stalin = Megatron Soviet Union = Decepticons Roosevelt = Optimus Prime Western Allied = Autobots Axis (mostly Nazi Germany) = Unicron Finland = Sideways (although he's not from G1 but Armada)

The only thing Bayverse does for Transformers is corrupt it in the eyes of those who know not the treasure that is G1. "Starscream is an idiot." His character summed up in one word. Though to be fair, he can be fairly pragmatic. . . not that you can usually tell. The Soundwave part was amazing! "Soundwave superior, Autobots (and everyone else) inferior." Of course Soundwave cowers at "Roll out!" He's actually consistently smart, as opposed to an aforementioned idiot.

And where would this franchise be without Peter Cullen and Frank Welker? And most importantly, where would anyone - working for the franchise or viewing it, doesn't matter - be if Larry Cullen hadn't had that little talk with Peter? These three men created a whole world for kids, and it saved them. Thank you, Captain Cullen, Peter Cullen, and Frank Welker for giving us this.

GeeboysGamesandMore Actually it does. Jazz being the token ghetto type character has always been believed by many to be a marketing ploy to appeal to young black guys. Think of Token from South Park, he is literally the token black dude. Including a character like that is often referred to as hitting the market. That said, if Gaz comments and says I'm wrong, I'll feel like a right eejit.

What an incredible tribute to one of the most iconic franchises. I love the care and effort that went into all the little references and making it sound like it was actually from the 80s. Only one problem. At 1:42, I’m pretty sure you mean SEZIUM SALAMI.

I expected something heroic, something like Take it Back, so at first I was shocked, but I started to enjoy how fun and fitting this song is. It could easily be a theme song for the original cartoons :)

To be honest, for me Megatron doesn’t fit well with Stalin. This may depend on what incarnation of Megatron we are talking about, but as for me, he was always closer in views and methods to Mao Zedong or Hitler. Not completely, but certain character traits can be traced.

i remember watching the 80s movie as a child, and while it's old and was made for little kids the fighting scenes where far realistic that the ones from nowadays cartoon, finding that vhs in the bad movie chest for five euro is one of the best investment i ever did.
