I am excited about this. A friend of mine ordered this with the new expansion, so we are patiently waiting for this to come early next year. In the meantime we have your video to hold us over. :)

I just opened this and monsters and minions for Christmas and finished a first play through while watching yours ! Thanks so much it helped me do things right even though I made a few mistakes but I ended up with 21 hahaha NPC wah wah wahhhhh 😄 I loved it can’t wait to play more

At 24:27, you didn't move your blue cube down after using pickpocket, which means you weren't able to move silently at 26:52 and thus not get your 3rd mage armor. I'm not sure what would have been more beneficial in the end - no armor or no intelligence (what you used the pickpocket on) So close though! Fun playthrough :)

Great playthrough as always! I've been on the fence about Roll Player but you seemed to be enjoying it so much, it was infectious. Think i may have to pull the trigger on this one :)

Pull the trigger!! Hahahaha it is such a fun game and the expansion really opens it up too, makes it feel like you are building a character for a specific reason.

At 10:34 you counted your attribute as 17 by adding another 1 to your total saying you gain 1 because the class colour is the same as the die. I can’t find reference to that in the rules at all. The closest mention is gaining an additional reputation star for each die that matches your class colour.

I'm still on the fence about this one. I'm going to see if I can find a copy at a good price, but I feel like Sagrada fulfills my dice drafting needs for right now.

I get ya on Sagrada vs. Roll Player. Here is my take, Roll Player is a much better solo experience IMO. Sagrada is all about which public objectives show up, and you get pigeonholed on which dice to draft. The amount of manipulation and sheer different ways to score points in this game makes this one better for me. I still have both as my wife loves Sagrada, but if I ever get to choose, it would be Roll Player hands down! (She always wins Sagrada, I always win Roll Player ha!)

Biggest reason I have not pulled it out in over a year. I still own it though because the game is fun, but I think I prefer multi-player

What is the difference between a wizard and a sorcerer? Or its just gender?

In the game? The bonuses are different as well as in the goals. If you mean in literature, I have no idea :)

In D&D and many other Tabletop RPGs, a wizard gains his magic via intense study (requiring high intelligence). A sorcerer gains his magic by some innate power, often based on bloodline. (They are therefore based more on Charisma instead of intelligence) Roleplay-wise, a sorcerer would learn new spells spontaneously by embracing his innate powers.

Lucas explained perfectly. wizard is a mindful occult using knowledge, sorcerer is a mystic with an innate and emotional drive

Did you have a trash pile, in the rule said you have to put the top card to the trash pile also.

Yup since you have cards that let you buy from there sometimes

No, I mean you have to have 1 discard pile and 1 trash pile together with 2 piles that stated in the rulebook.

Ah GREAT point! I think you might need to confirm on BGG but I believe you are right. Sorry it has been too long for me to remember. But I do remember there is a trash vs. a discard as the trash is unavailable to you, but the discard is!
