This is my favorite shanty, the first time i was in a storm at sea i hung on to the helm and bellowed this song intro the wind with my watch partner. Still one of the best expierences of my life!

I remember going to Sidmouth folk festival and on the way back to the campsite someone was singing in this on the bus and all of a sudden the entire bus erupt with this song and I have never forgotten it

It’s funny I’ve seen so many of these, but this time I just appreciated Calm’s ability to keep in time with himself. It’s pretty impressive. I have so many memory’s of frustrated piano teachers and parents trying to get me to listen to the metronome lol. I don’t know how he does it, he’s not even wearing a head phone or something, singing along/playing along is one thing, but it looks like he’s just a straight up self synchronizer boss! That’s a SSSB for those who are unfamiliar.
