I hear that. When I drop down from 5+ campaigns to something a bit more reasonable I will really dig into API add-ons and stuff.

As Cthulhu d100 Player this is also very helpful! Our sheets don't have an automatically generated one so I'll look into that, but this is still quite useful!

As a DM can you do this for your players the same way? Just drag it onto the macro bar or will it only show for me/or all players

You can make macros as a DM and enabled them for your players. I have several that I have made that appear in the top left corner of the screen while a token is selected. Others that always appear in the bottom of the screen. But the drag down from sheet to hotbar macros are player specific I beleive.
