Carlos here, I'm having fun making these videos, and hopefully these are boosting confidence levels in running new systems. I love deep dives as much as the next guy, but sometimes you just want to try out a new game on a Friday night without doing HOURS of research and reading.

Very Freudian title here ... Anyways my party brought down the matriarchy (modled after Drow) and decided to form a softball league haha

My partner and I are totally new to roleplaying games. As it's just us two I think this game may be too complicated for us. Evilhat's website is not clear at all on what it involves, I didn't even know what dice we'd need or extra materials, until watching your video. Thank you.

It would be less so if you had played a game like dnd or pathfinder maybe? Stats and all that. High and low dice roll meanings. Good luck on your search for the comfortable table! Like most things, the people around you help make the experience great. Much love!

I know this is meant to be a shorter video, but I didn’t understand what were those tables between PC’s for. It seemed for a second there that there was some sort of competitive element in the game.

roll 20 is only showing the stuff from advanced lovers not all the other stuff. I have no access to any of the stuff I bought in the bundle. I am confused

Yeah I’m still not understanding how strings work between two players. I’ve read the book multiple times now. Can someone give an example?

Looks well-designed with good artwork. However, the extreme empasis on relationships is not for me. I just want to protect a village from the bad guys, explore ancient ruins, learm magic and solve great mysteries, explore the galaxy and meet new and interesting species and cultures etc. For me, game relationships are a small part of a much bigger whole, rather than the focus.

I think the game you're looking for is a little-known indie RPG called Dungeons & Dragons. Good luck.

I HATE Roll20, I find it really difficult to use, and this didn't really help me figure out how to set up TSL as a GM on Roll20 at all! I would have appreciated more detail on where menu buttons actually are and suchlike.

This board game exist?! I thought it was parody😵
@warmmilk9480
@warmmilk9480 12 күн бұрын
It's not a board game. It's a tabletop RPG. Like Dungeons & Dragons. Except different in some pretty key ways, of course. And just because something is a parody doesn't mean it doesn't also exist. That's how parody works. Anyway, it's not really a parody. For the most part.
