That's your pointers breeding taking over. I'm assuming he's never been trained to hunt, but his breeding has him working the area around you. He has an idea of what he's supposed to do, just no formal training to do it. GSP's are quite special. 😃

Such an enjoyable video, had to watch it 3 times just today! Zazu understands English PERFECTLY. When you said, "Go kiss Daddy"...he didn't need ANY time to translate to "dog language". He did the command instantly. SO intelligent & soulful. Walle....where do I start? Honestly, he covers 50 to 100 times the distance you cover WITH PURE JOY! Rolling in poop? Did you see him do it? Its catnip for GSPs. Sends them into ecstasy. Bath or no bath...his addiction will bring him back to poop! (Cleaning his ears may cause him to think twice...if that's even possible for a GSP). Such beauty and love all the way around. Stay well & keep up the loving, soul-soothing work.

Loved your video!! This is how we spent the lockdown days too!! Hiking on the mountains with our GSP ( Flora ) and friends with their dogs .We live on the countryside too. Flora behaves exactly like Wally!! She loves rolling on...dirty stuff !!! :-) :-) Luckily she enjoys the bath ,afterwards!!!

All our dogs large or small have had the zoomed after baths done. I think it's just joy to have the bath over with ( and most dogs hate baths). Zazu likes water so may like baths .

Wally got a lot of energy after his bath just like we get energy after we take a shower in the morning.. I love them wrapped in their blankets ❤️😘

My boyfriend and I walk on average about 6 miles a day, Ranger our GSP probably runs 12... Got to love German shorthairs! ❤️

I used to look after dogs for people. That extra high energy thing after their baths, a lot of dogs do that. I still haven’t figured out why. I never really took real notice of it until you mentioned it now though.

My Lab used to get very energetic after baths. To keep her from rolling in the dirt when she was still damp, I'd take her for a walk on leash. Being black, she would sun dry fast. And she more readily cooperated with bath time cuz she knew she'd get a walk right afterwards.

Don't know what it is with dogs and cow pies, I've had a couple who like to eat and roll in 'em too, dead rotten fish too. Guess you've got to be a dog to appreciate it, we humans just don't get it. Love watching that Walle boy run (jftr, he absolutely would have gone down to the cows and had a little game of chase with them had you not put him on the leash...I actually expected to see that), he's a really sleek and nimble fella, has a nice stride. Very pretty dog. Like Zazu too, he's a good boy and the definition of mellow fellow.

You guys are cute. I recently discovered your channel. They both are lovely, but sorry I love Walle more. I see Walle and I find a lot of similarities with my GSD, he's very curious as well. At 6moths age my GSD got a little too close to cows(he tried to befriend them earlier twice but we intervened) and scared them, who in turn while running away stepped back on his leg (we were little behind and couldn't reach at the correct time). He sat there whinning.. a trip to vets and a cast for a week(thank God it wasn't serious). But, now as we see cows, we leash him, he too now knows they are dangerous. And about the after bath energy.. no.. it's a dog thing I guess.. my GSD does that as well.. once he's all dried up.. he'll do zoomies and play catch (ps, he doesn't like baths) Lots of Love from India.❤️
