@@untexan Storm Runner, Maverick, Pantheon, Velocicoaster, and the Eurofighter were all test morning test runs. They have to test the rollback system every morning.

That was during Test Runs before the ride ever opened to the public. It´s entirely possible that they caused the rollback on purpose to test if the ride system will handle a situation like this as intended (as in detecting the rollback and stopping all trains behind it) and if the recovery procedure works as it should.

@@Soonjai I have literally seen it with people on the ride. I am hoping it will happen some time with me on it as those who have had it happen say it is both cool and scary at the same time. The brake system does kick in which is a good thing.

It was a test ride, so the operators actually meant to do that to test how fast they need the launch to go.

Yes, but once it went up the backwards spike it is supposed to clear the top hat when going forwards again. In this clip that doesn´t happen.

That’s the one that’s supposed to clear it. You can tell because it’s after the rear spike.

it did do its swing launch, but still didnt have enough speed, as you can see in the video it went up the backwards spike, which means it already launched twice

not after it goes through the spike.

The spike is supposed to be after the first pass through and then it makes a final pass up the top hat

Similar to the Velocicoaster clip the Pantheon one was a Test Run before the ride ever opened to the public. More likely than not, the Rollback after the Swing was intentional to test if the ride system will handle a situation like this as intended.
